G.I. Joe Classified Beamish-Style Weekend Vehicle Poll - #63 - Dominator (RAH)

I think the opportunity for this to get made has passed with the single release of Darklon. As a Classified (almost) completist I would cave on this, but if I wasn't I would easily pass because I don't like the design at all.
 
No attachment to Darklon or his Evader at all. Never owned them as a kid, and as an adult I think they both look dumb enough to make me not care.
 
Missed commenting on the Mudfighter, which I actually really like! If the size was reasonable I'd get it. The Evader is the exact type of design that we saw in a lot of 80s/90s toys that I never liked, so that's a skip.
 
Sorry for the big catch up here.

Ghosthawk - Yes. I actually like it more than the Skyhawk, especially the armored cockpit, which I always imagined had a virtual cockpit on the inside like the YF-19 in Macross Plus.
Steel Marauder and Kickstand - Yeah that toy is INCREDIBLY cool. A Classified one would rock.
Deviant - It was never as cool as the marauder to me. The marauder felt like a combat mech, this feels like a weird gladiator thing. Not for me.


OK before we keep going: I LOVED Sigma 6. The toys rocked, the cartoon was fun and in general it was just a great series. Is it "Real military?" no. But it wasnt trying to be. It was a Sci Fi adventure series with slick animation. The toys were kind of the proto Classified in a way; Tons of gear and extras that you could load onto the characters. Yeah they were cartoony and the articulation was limited, but at the time they were the SHIT! And I'll tell u how much I liked them; They weren't available in Australia. I had to import them, and i had almost all the 8" figures.
i ended up giving them to a friends son a few years ago, and I know they were big favorites up till he became a teenager, and then they were carefully put away.
So anyway:
Dragonhawk - I mean, sure. Its an awesome vehicle design. It would be HUGE, but... I mean it can carry vehicles, so its kind of fun.
Swamp Skier - Nah. I dont even like the Chameleon.
Joe Hover Bike - Hell yes. That toy was AWESOME. Press the button and it changed to hover mode, and it worked GREAT for years. Loved it.
Thunderwing - I mean I'll take a Raptor but it would be HUGE
Detonator - Nah.
Ice Cutter - Yeah maybe. Its kind of cool looking and wouldn't be huge. Could be fun.
Imp - Maybe, but it would have to be amazing.
Mudbuster - Sure, why not?
Mudfighter - Oh absolutely. One of my favorite toys as a kid.
Evader - Man i dunno, it would have to be amazing. Its so silly.

One of the vehicles I both didn't have and didn't regret missing the first time around. Both color and design strayed too far from the kick ass 88 vehicles.
 
I have no memory of that vehicle and it's not cool enough to my adult eye to want it without any nostalgia, so no.

True story; I didn't give a fuck about Iron Grenadiers stuff as a kid. I used Destro as just a Cobra general and the few IGs I had, like Voltar and Metal-head, I just used as regular Cobra guys. So I just generally have no attachment to the IGs as a faction.
