    McFarlane DC Multiverse

I’m hoping the figure is cast in grey and a little nail polish remover will take care of that dumb glow effect. Other than that, it’s actually a pretty decent figure.

    McFarlane DC Multiverse

100%. It’s an overused term, but that’s my grail figure. Best ever Batman artist, IMO.

I have a feeling you’re on to something here. For me, it would not be the ‘end all be all’ figure, because there are so many comic-based looks that I would still want, even some that have already been done (Capullo, Kelly Jones, Jim Lee, Marshall Rogers, Aparo, etc.).

    McFarlane DC Multiverse

Mainly for budget and space reasons, I tried to stick exclusively to just Batman figures, but that Joker is pretty tempting, such a classic look. I’m OK with the hat being sculpted on, makes for a more streamlined look, and there are plenty of other options without the hat. It’s kind of...

First review of deathstroke is up, looks great.

    UPF (Formerly LPZZ Toys)

Batman Who Laughs just went up for PO, set to ship Q4 this year! Looks great, comes with tons of accessories, but zero interest, always thought it was a rare misfire from Scott Snyder. My big takeaways here are that hopefully this means the Hush Batman will ship sooner than later, and will...

    McFarlane DC Multiverse

I’m sticking with my guess that Mattel will kick off their line with Absolute versions of the Trinity. My hunch is that Todd is not being allowed to make those.

    UPF (Formerly LPZZ Toys)

Well, their Deathstroke figure went up for preorder a few weeks ago, and is expected in Q1 of next year, so hopefully that means that the Hush Batman actually releases in the first half of next year sometime.

    UPF (Formerly LPZZ Toys)

According to their lead designer who posts on IG, should be up for PO a lot sooner than that, definitely before year’s end. He said we would see updated versions at the Wonder Festival event in Shanghai in a couple of weeks.

    Best Matt Wagner Batman?

Well, there’s the DC Direct Trinity one from years back that’s based on Wagner’s art. Almost no articulation though.

Batman Who Laughs goes up for PO on 9/20. No interest, but glad to see the line moving along. Can’t wait for the Hush figures to officially be up for preorder!

    MAFEX DC Figures

Interesting. They just shipped my Spidey, and I didn’t pay that much (using DHL). In any case, you’re right, it’s going to be like this for a while…

    MAFEX DC Figures

My black Knight Crusader Batman is also trapped in Japan with Nin Nin. They need to figure it out ASAP, seems like all the other major players (HLJ, etc.) already have. Frustrating

    McFarlane DC Multiverse

According to Jayger 101 (a frequent poster of accurate McF leaks on YT), his sources are telling him Todd is set to lose the DC license in mid-July of next year. Kind of matches what I remember hearing when the news first broke earlier this year, but I know there’s been a lot of rumors and...

    UPF (Formerly LPZZ Toys)

So I messaged the guy who is posting the pictures of these figures on Instagram. He shared that he is the designer for the Hush figures. He also gave me a couple more details: these will have wired cloth capes, and when I asked him when these would release and suggested early 2026, he said...

    UPF (Formerly LPZZ Toys)

Last thing: he also shared that they plan on going deep into the comic based lines, not just Hush and Metal.

    UPF (Formerly LPZZ Toys)

The company employee that posted these pics clarified that the comic based figures will be at a lower price point than the ones based on movies and games, but still not as cheap as say, Marvel legends, of course.

    McFarlane DC Multiverse

Can anyone please confirm the timeline of the license switching over? From what I initially remember, spi master would lose their rights as of the beginning of 26, but McFarlane kept theirs until about midway the same year. Then I started reading that McFarlane might have them for all of 26...

I did it with 18 gauge wire, relatively easy. You have to remove the neck piece though.

    My hypothetical McFarlane Multiverse continuation.

I thought Mattel had the master license again as of midway ‘26, not beginning of ‘27? My best guess is that McFarlane will continue with non-figure DC Direct stuff (statues, props, etc.), but figures will be exclusively Mattel. I know Todd has a LOT of issues, but I do love his...

    McFarlane DC Multiverse

Finally made the move from the Fwoosh. Got the NML Batman in from an HK seller today (I’m in Cali). Can confirm the cape is fabric but not wired. Really like the deep blue, and the head sculpt is really clean/classic.
