Oh it totally makes sense from the customer side, it's just one of those things you have to contend with when selling stuff. I'm a bit dramatic about it, but it's not like I think the customer is actually being a jerk when budgeting their money that way.

Exactly. It's unfortunate but true. Basic customer psychology. For indie art at cons you can get some benefit to the fact that any individual customer can't be sure you'll return to that show, but I've definitely seen people ask "are you local" as a way to see if they can not spend money on you...

I can kinda see it. It's not the latest and greatest, but it does have a few things the more recent caps lack in either sculpt, paint, or accessories. And it did go fast at the time IIRC. I'm never really gong to get mad at them for a rerelease of a popular figure.

I definitely agree he is. The heart is willing, it's the medium itself that has limitations. There are things you can do with movement and color in animation that will never read as good (or even be possible) in live action.
