Are we saying Muse and Bullseye are Born Again based. If so, purchase. Day 1.
Now, since I don't see a proper Doomsday showing, I assume that just means it is getting a wave and that the Iron Man Mk 3 is some type of reissue like Cap and Spidey were a while back, and I guess they're doing TASM...
I assume it will get a 2nd wave. Just a matter if it will be like the NWH wave 2 like 2 years later or a few months later like they did for IW/EG. Secret Wars should also be getting a wave or 2
The one reasons I can SORT of see this being g viable is Void would be 100% reuse, and thus super cheap to do.
As for the Fox movies. I think getting that rumored wave that may or may not exist is best shot at getting them. Once Doomsday/Secret Wars comes and goes, the focus on MCU side will be...
I get ya gotta get the most popular characters who sell in a wave. I get it. But I want more beyond these 3. Honestly, I would be more interested in a TIH 2 Pack of Abominantiom and Hulk from that movie than this!
I would be happy to get Val and Void as well. One double dip I am happy to do.
Mr Negative does appear to be the villain, and we'd better get him or whoever the villain ends up being. I have shit loads of Spider-Man. And Hulks. And they're doing a Born Again Punisher soon. So that's 3 repeat...
Per Beamish's list he posted:
Spider-Man: Brand New Day
Avengers: Doomsday
MCU
Void and Valentina - 2-pack
I will have to see it to believe it. But Day 1 purchase if real.
That's just it, they are not MCU figures. So they hold no interest to me. I get that they sell. But if they do count as D+ stuff, then those are spots they are taking that could have gone to something I do want.
I dont think this means anything, really. Given Dan said X-Men 97 is Disney+, my take away is X-Men 97 counts as a D+ wave and that's just what they're doing cause they sell. Which....those are figures I have no interest in and are more for your comic collectors. Not MCU ones
I think the most obvious answer to getting that classic Bucky is, and I know instantly people would be mad, you'd have to make a Captain America that's high demand. Like the Renew Your Vows Spider-Man was at the time. Some Cap that offers something people really want but haven't gotten yet. Then...
I dont think Taskmaster is coming. But I can see the Hasbro team in Doomsday giving us a Bucky and Ghost in their designs from that movie. Won't exactly be accurate to the Thunderbolts movie, I get it. But I think that will be the plan cause Doomsday will be a bigger movie, and thus will get...
Fair enough on the reuse part, but even if Amazon or Walmart wouldn't actually balk, it only matters if the company thinks they would and thus wouldn't pitch it. The issue here either Marvel or Hasbro just don't want to do it or pitch it
I think more like when we got that Infinity Saga wave that was reissues of some figures like CW War Machine, Spider-Man, Iron Man, etc. Only maybe under that Fox-Men banner they used that one year. I am solely not writing this off as possible cause of the Doomsday connection.
They won't match, sure. But I can see them doing them to the advantage of Doomsday's hype. We will likely end up getting at least some Doomsday X-Men. I also think D&W figures are probably likely to come. We had to wait like 2+ years for NWH stuff, let us not forget.
Now, more Thunderbolts or...
Only thing is, some of the X-Men ones if they're coming maybe got moved to later since Doomsday got moved to December next year, and those sort of tie into it. But I am less inclined to think most of the MCU stuff is coming as well.
Those are coming, but let's be honest....do we think either Marvel Zombies or Eyes of Wakanda are going to yield top 5 or 10 figures that will net a ton of votes? Ones that will top like a High Evolutionary? I don't
I technically have the ability to do some form of sizzle reel. It's more an issue of time in my case cause I got 2 toddlers, 1 of whom is autistic. But I do have enough editing station and such
