Morph arrived today and I’m glad to have Gyrich standing in my Avengers display. But now I’ve got a Morph figure I have less than zero use for. Ah, well.

I’m just waiting for someone to come up with the best body to swap that young Mandarin head and ringed fists onto. The suited body is fine, but not Mandarin.

Boil and pop. Really easy. I did it with mine. Swapped the comic head and tail onto the new X-Men 97 body. Just pull the tail gently from the base.

I don’t picture Namora that big. The standard Shriek body would be good for her with bare feet and winged ankles. She may also need a new upper torso overlay for the pointy shoulders and collar. New head as well, obviously.

I would absolutely buy Handbook Nekra, but given Hasbro’s trepidation with these kinds of outfits, I doubt we’ll see her. In the Handbook look at least. They’d find some other more modern covered-up look for her. I second the 2-pack suggestion with Mandrill. That would be an awesome and...

At today’s prices, she’s a pass from me.

My most wanted Imperial Guardians are Electron, Tempest, and Oracle, just to cement in that classic “Legion Big 3” vibe alongside Gladiator. Plus, getting Electron also serves us twofold as another Shi’Ar aside from Lilandra and Deathbird, as well as the head for future generic Shi’Ar grunts.

Pre-ordered Mystique surprisingly easy. I expected her to be sold out instantly.

That’s Quasar, but they renamed him Neutron to avoid confusion with Wendell Vaughn. And to be honest, given his powers (a Star Boy analog), Neutron makes much more sense.

I’m hoping for more comic Avengers myself.

I guess I’m one of the few that, despite having two Gladiator figures already, I’m still excited for this one in addition to Deathbird. I’m a huge fan of the Gladiator character, so more than happy to get as many as Hasbro wants to crank out.

I don’t actually mind a suited body for him either. I liked the crime lord update to him Jim Lee designed, and thought it was appropriate for a more modern take on the character. I’m just not sure it’s this suited body I like. I feel like he needs to be taller. The suited bodies are so puny...

Dude, I would buy the heck out of that! I friggin’ loved those designs, especially Horus!

How deep the line can go with minimal cost/effort, and STILL make A LOT of us happy. *sigh*

Absolutely Yes to the Doctor. I enjoyed his appearances in both Godzilla, as well as WCA. Getting both a masked and unmasked head would be sweet.
