    General Marvel Legends

I just got the Wolverine / Silver Samurai 2-pack today from BBTS today and the Wolverine is missing one of his claws on his left hand, and it's not in the box. Super bummed because I've been waiting with great anticipation for this set to arrive. If that damned claw had just been loose in the...

    McFarlane DC Multiverse

Saying that Mattel will start out playing it safe with all the usual suspects may not be entirely accurate. If you remember they actually started out the original DCUC line with a first wave of some pretty not all A-list characters. They had only on A-list hero and villain, classic blue and gray...

    McFarlane DC Multiverse

I was trying to think of a comic book superhero universe Todd could take on after the DC license expires, and I realized that no one has ever done classic Valiant Comics figures. I would personally be so down for that. Back in the 90's Valiant was right up there with Marvel and DC in popularity...

I am so glad I don't buy movie figures. I don't think I could do this again tomorrow.

    McFarlane DC Multiverse

Wow! That Scarecrow was the most difficult pre-order I ever had to deal with for a McFarlane DC figure. Right at noon I went to BBTS and the site was super slow. But I finally got in and put Scarecrow in my cart. Everything is already set-up for payment and such so I clicked the submit order...

    McFarlane DC Multiverse

I am a big fan (and staunch defender) of McFarlane's DC figures, but $34.99 for Dr. Midnight is ridiculous. He's a regular sized figure that comes with 4 extra hands and an owl. While Silver-Age Batman came with 4 extra hands, a bat-a-rang and Ace The Bat-Hound for $22.99 just a few months ago...

2025-2026 Rumor/Leak List - UPDATED List 9-9-25 (after the livestream)

Some pretty awesome reveals. The gray suit Black Widow is the winner for me. I still remember when that look was introduced during Frank MIller's run on DD. Speaking of which the track suit Daredevil is another one I would like to grab. That mini-series was great and was a big influence on the...

    McFarlane DC Multiverse

It looks like the big upcoming pre-order dates are Sep. 17th and 18th. Right now it looks like all I'll be picking up are Scarecrow and Dr. Midnight. I like the new Batgirl head sculpt, but not enough to pay for her again since it's basically the exact same figure as 3-Jokers with lighter gray...

Marvel Legends Preorders - When and Where

A new classic Cockrum / Byrne style Cyclops has been my number one Marvel Legends want for some time now. So I was ready and waiting at 2pm and I pre-ordered 2 of them. I tell you, now that that's coming out I am hard pressed to think of any Marvel characters that I still really want that...

    S.H. Figuarts Marvel Figures

I tried to log into my EE account and it wouldn't let me. So I clicked the "forgot my password" button and I got an email saying that my account was no longer active and I'd have to start over and create a new one. So I just went with BBTS. I haven't really ordered much from EE, (which is...

    S.H. Figuarts Marvel Figures

What about big retailers like Amazon? I could be wrong, but from what I understand Amazon is absorbing at least some (if not all) of the tariff charges. And if not, at least you know what you're paying up front and can decide if it's worth it or not. If you buy from an overseas seller, it's...

    S.H. Figuarts Marvel Figures

Aren't these going to be available everywhere, like Amazon, GameStop, BBTS, and Entertainment Earth, etc.? So why deal with an overseas seller and have to guess at what kind of tariff you might get hit with?

    S.H. Figuarts Marvel Figures

What time do SH Figuarts figures usually go up for pre-order? Is there a specific time they go live? Or is it random?

    McFarlane DC Multiverse

I always wanted that animated Batcave did but it's just too big. And once you take it out and put it all together there's probably no way to get back in its box. The Batcave set-up I have now is one that can break down and put away when I'm not using it. So, I'll probably have to pass on the...

I went for the bundle too, and with the 10% off code the figure was basically free. But $100 for the Batmobile is about $20 more than I thought it would be. Plus the cheapest shipping option was $24. Man, I don't think I could afford to stay in this hobby if McFarlane kept the DC license.

    McFarlane DC Multiverse

The thing about characters like Indiana Jones, Luke Skywalker, and Captain Kirk, etc. is that they started out as movie and TV characters with actors playing them. So in those cases the actors are the characters in real sense of the word. For example, it's hard to separate Indiana Jones from...

    McFarlane DC Multiverse

Same here. I don't buy movie figures either. I like comic books first. I like the movies too, but the comic versions of the characters are like the "real" versions to me. In my mind, movie figures are just figures of actors cos-playing as comic book characters. But that's just me.

I ordered 2 of the digital figure bundles on MTS within the first minute they went up for pre-order, and they still haven't shipped yet. Even though I've seen several people online who got their orders delivered from MTS weeks ago, and they actually had the bundles in stock for immediate...

I have this piece hanging up in my office, and I was looking at it the other day and I started thinking that it makes a good reference of what I would like to have in my DC figure collection. (Character-wise anyway). I prefer the classic looks myself, but as far as characters go, this makes a...

    McFarlane DC Multiverse

It's funny how a lot of complaints that were true early on in McFarlane's DC run, but aren't true now, are still being continually brought up by some people as examples of why they're glad McFarlane is losing the DC license. Complaint: "Todd only makes Batman and Batman related figures."...

The DC Essentials Harley fills that spot in my collection. She's a great comic version, has excellent articulation and scales perfectly with the McFarlane figures.

    McFarlane DC Multiverse

I'm too damn old to start my DC figure collection all over again from scratch. So, it's very likely Mattel won't win me over no matter what they do. I mean, everything has already been done and done again anyway. I can't imagine they'll be able to do anything all that mind-blowing. Oh, maybe...

    McFarlane DC Multiverse

No, it wasn't that bad of move. I also had a pre-order in for Henshaw Cyborg Supes at a GameStop store near me, and then MTS put them back up, so I ordered one from there as well. My figure showed up from MTS, but GameStop never got the P.O. in. I went by there a week or so ago, and asked about...

Found these at Target on Friday. They also had both Darkstar regular and platinum. Looks like most Targets are getting all of these in at the same time. I've seen a lot of other people finding them as well. But different parts of the country have different case assortments. Some have the...

    Best Spider-Man Figures

The Spider-Man figure pool is a difficult maze to navigate. For years and years they could never seem to get Spidey just right, and then suddenly there was a flood of excellent figures of the ol' web-head to choose from. As my personal favorite I settled on RYV Spidey. I loved Retro Spidey, but...
