Dang, I was just thinking: we're probably not getting the little Jason demon with the Part 9 figure since it's from the game, are we? On the other hand, we do get the unmasked head from the game, which isn't in the film as far as I know.

I see your guys' points, but I'm not really convinced. It's possible they have sculpted or at least started sculpting other figures, but as we know, the tooling itself is the big cost, and it's a balancing act as to whether or not it's worthwhile showing that stuff and then pulling it back in...

I'm sure there are budgetary concerns that need to be balanced, and producing six figures of an untested line instead of another figure or two in a proven seller may not always make financial sense.

And it's even more likely that not buying initial releases will end in cancelation these days. Between tariffs and rising costs, as well as a couple lines that went bust, it seems clear to me that NECA is a bit less willing to take risks than they used to be.

It is in mine. Some of the best character work of any of TMNT shows, I'd say. Best Mikey and Splinter for sure.

I dunno, I wasn't that interested. My buddy was excited about the tape head and he already has the old one, so I figured it must be new.

I actually thought these heads had a better likeness than I remember the first one having. But I never bought it, so I don't know how it looked in-hand.
