    Marvel Cinematic Universe Figure Discussion

I'm torn on which Bernthal Punisher to keep. I prefer the head and accessories from the Man Thing wave Punisher, but I prefer the coatless buck of the new Punisher. The heads aren't swappable either. Problems.......

    General Marvel Legends

You're right, there's good stuff buried throughout the movie but it's lost in commercialism. I keep hearing folks in Batman groups calling for the "Schumacher Cut" but I don't know if that can save it. Agreed on all. I LOVED the aesthetic of the Tim Burton films but Forever had its own look...

    General Marvel Legends

I keep wanting to like it more than I do. The fact that Jones' Two-Face is essentially trying to match Carrey's Riddler in over-the-top zaniness the whole movie is a big strike against it. If he would have been played more dark and sinister it might have been a good counter. One villain doing...

    General Marvel Legends

You're essentially describing "ultimate" versions which Hasbro isn't very keen on doing.....like, ever. That video game Cap looks great but I personally need the sculpted scales. They might do sculpted scales with the pinless and the butterfly joints next time, but odds are it will lack some...

I really don't have anything to ask her. I drew this in the 90s when I was in high school, it's the 95 movie poster. A few years ago, David Yost (the Blue Ranger) came to town and I wondered, "That would be neat to meet him, what could he sign?" I remembered this picture existed, I pulled it...

    General Marvel Legends

Here, I'll switch us back to ML: Astonishing Wolverine reissue goes up fore preorder this week. I need to decide if I want to open the Astonishing floodgates. I have Astonishing Emma (who is slightly less annoying to stand than 97 Emma) but that's it. I liked the Astonishing run well enough...

And don't be afraid to put Robin on screen. I have a feeling this is what James Gunn will be going for when he gets around to Batman. Especially if they keep the Pattinson Batman around simultaneously, surely they won't have TWO grim, gritty, "grounded in the real world" renditions of Batman...

    General Marvel Legends

A shamefully underrated team that is always getting overlooked. I'm also a fan of Doug Moench. I was reading his arc with Gene Colan and Don Newton that introduced Nocturna. Good writing, good art, but with Batman bouncing between Vicci Vale, Alfred's pre-Crisis daughter, and Nocturna (who...

    McFarlane DC Multiverse

Tough to say what the best Batmobile is. All the ones that should be two seaters have the fatal flaw of NOT being two seaters with the exception of the 66 and the Tumbler. I'm afraid you have to take 89 off the list because of that inaccurate canopy. Definitely take off the Flash 89 because...

    General Marvel Legends

Miller's writing never did anything for me. He fit right in, though, with the kind of stories that were being told in the early 2000's, both companies trying to be "edgy". I never got into the Ultimate run. I know they ended up violently killing off all of the heroes because why not? There...

    McFarlane DC Multiverse

I held off on this purchase. I could be convinced if it was absolute perfection but McFarlane's 66 Batmobile for the 6 inch line looked laughable with the figures in it and I did not want to get the Multiverse one if it wasn't great. I just don't like 66 Batman that much. I do have the Mattel...

Angel comes from money but that character is a mess. No two writers will have the same take on him.

    General Marvel Legends

I've never thought of this before and I agree. Like when the writers wake up one day and find out they made Superman so powerful that he's uninteresting, they have to depower him a little bit. Maybe time to defund Bruce a little bit? I mean, he can still be well off, can still build a sweet...

For me, Batman TAS is pretty much the final word on that character, and Mask of the Phantasm is as good as (if not better than) any live action Batman movie. I just watched this movie recently. Yeah, sticking to the former is the safe bet and one I don't mind companies sticking to as long as...

They aren't going to clearance them either. That's their evergreen Marvel Legends representation so they can either not order or not be shipped (whichever the truth is, who knows) new product and still claim that they "stock" Marvel Legends.

    Marvel Cinematic Universe Figure Discussion

Man, I'm still waiting for a total redo of the Avengers from the first movie, Loki included. Is that a pipe dream at this point? It was such an iconic movie but I think the only line that did that full roster was Figuarts and their Hulk is way too expensive on the aftermarket.

I can't really tell from the picture....is this a full paint job on the reissue of my favorite IM armor? Not just red plastic? If so I may have to spring for it. https://marvelousnews.com/252-37752

    Masters of the Universe: Origins

I'm really excited about Marlena. After Swiftwind I was pretty content with this line, don't really have a dog in the fight when it comes to whether or not they remake every vintage character, but Marlena was heavily featured in the show and I always wanted a figure of her. I could take or...

    Hasbro Made-to-Order Figures

I kicked around the idea of getting a Sentinel when they inevitably popped back up because my X-men 97 lineup has grown significantly since it went live, but that extra $40 tacked on is a deal breaker. I'll stick with the rainbow colored video game two packs.

The Sentinel page is back up. Or was it ever taken down? You can't preorder it, though. Also.....$40 price hike. https://www.hasbropulse.com/product/marvel-legends-series-xmen-97-marvels-sentinel/G06525L00

It's the biggest cloud hanging over this toy line: Knowing that you may or may not be able to own the figure you want based on the whim of the guy in charge. You start a toy line, but you don't let the fans collect it. Who does that?

Spider-Man Retro 2026 Wave with Cardiac, Owl & Hypno Hustler

I preordered Cardiac with great joy. If it's the only ML purchase of 2026, I'll probably be OK.
