DC Mezco One:12 Collective

Is $116 their base price these days? I wish they'd do a stripped-down version with three total heads (neutral, angry, unmasked), six-ish hands, three batarangs, and the stand. I'd rather pay $90 for that than $116 for the extra junk. I can't believe the 180 I've done on accessories. I don't need all that shit taking up space in a bin.

I'll have to think about this one. I have a feeling we're about to get inundated with great 6" Batman figures, and one with a soft goods costume is not likely to make the cut if I have to make hard choices.

The photo before the accessories, the one where he's just standing there, is doing the heavy lifting. Unfortunately, I can't get the image to display here. I've wanted that Batman for 25 years.
 
Yeah, they jacked up. I don't recall the trajectory, but it's base.

This is my favourite Batman. One of my favourite artists. Favourite suit. I had to take the shot. I'm ready to hurt again, Mezco.
 
The last two Mezco toys I ordered were the One:12 1989 Batman, which took two years to ship, and the Kaiju Collective Godzilla, which went up for preorder in February 2023 and has yet to ship.

Should that be my expectation here, or is the turnaround on more straightforward figures like these better?
 
I snagged the year one Batman. Is it just my eyes playing tricks on me or is one of the head portraits painted in greyscale?

I always prepare for a year+ wait FROM the given date. Just forget it exists.

But I'm intrigued they would date a Jan drop so close. Sometimes things shuffle. I dunno. It's been awhile for me.

I think they're all just pale and play with the lighting. Which matches the colouring of the comic.
 
One would hope that this figure releases this year because it’s the 40th anniversary of Batman: Year One. Also the reason why the Batman 89 figure was delayed was because of the silicone rubber body. This is just their standard tailored costuming that Mezco is known for . And it’s a pretty simple design at that. I highly doubt it would take more than 9 months for this to come out

Why am I being given the full $139 price instead of the $29 deposit the site mentions for Pre-orders?

Tru'dat; but I doubt they'll make a Wagner Bats and their overall styles are close enough for me.
