Understanding that Shuma's tentacles are pretty much analogous to a Roach Motel ("Roaches check in, but they don't check out"), I'm hesitant to insert them into their ports until I determine their optimal configuration. The strange thing is, while the official image shows the three hooked tentacles in the lower 3 ports and the wavy tentacles in the upper three, videos of people playing with the official sample from SDCC show the hooked tentacles inserted at the 10, 2, and 6 o'clock ports, and the wavy tentacles inserted into the 12, 4, and 8 o'clock ports. Wtf?
The SDCC configuration makes the most sense because one would want him to be able to grab things with the hooked tentacles as opposed to using them as feet. But the 12 o'clock wavy tentacle seems goofy articulating side-to-side.
They REALLY should have included an instructional diagram or better-still, integrated a secondary swivel point where the rubbery material meets the plastic shoulder-balls in order to make his articulation much more fluid and to minimize the "oh shit! I put them in wrong" regret I've read people expressing online. Regardless, how the hell should I configure these gd tentacles???
I'm so confused and effectively frozen with indecision right now. Hahaha

My main concern with that would be whether these knees are made of the softer plastic Hasbro has been having tears with like Maximum Deadpool and a few others. After having my Emma Frost literally fall apart on me right out of the box I'd be wary of any hinge joint that was made from a softer plastic just to get matching yellows. Of course it's ideal, but I'd opt for durability over a perfect yellow throughout the leg and worry about "when" the knees finally fail.
 
This is precisely why I don’t keep plants in my home. Yikes. That might as well classify as damage from an earthquake tremor, which ironically, MvC juggernaut uses as one of his special moves. I guess that means these Gamerverse figures are more on brand than we thought?

What characters will you like to get when we inevitably get a Gamerverse versus wave?

For me the must haves are Cyclops, Storm, Gambit, Rogue, Iceman, Sabretooth and Magneto. I bet they will include Iron Man, Spider-Man and the Sentinel in there as well.
 
My biggest wants would be:
-Sentinel
-a big jacked Magneto
-a likewise chonky and powerful Dr Doom

I’ll buy pretty much all, but those are my dream figures from Capcom Gamerverse.
 
Hmm. My guesses are

Black heart vs Spider-Man

Sabretooth vs Gambit

Rogue vs Sentinel

Iron Man vs Dr Doom

Hulk vs onslaught (1st Form)

Bone claw Wolverine vs Magneto

Cyclops vs Cable (we’re running out of villains)

We need to get a chant going at conventions: Big jacked Magneto! Big jacked Magneto!

Whatever is next, I hope we get more sculpts like Wolverine, Cap, Psylocke, and I guess I’ll toss Venom in there since he had a new upper body. The game art is pretty unique and the ones that are close to pure reuse are so much less interesting.

Is there any surprise that two of Hasbro's most successful initiatives over the last 10 years were the Gamerverse and Marvel 80th Anniversary sublines? They were iconic characters done right. Most of them had dedicated sculpts with extra paint detail. They clearly got more love than your average Legend.

Call it Gamerverse, Marvel's 87th anniversary, whatever you want. I don't care. Give me a new Dr. Doom in that style.
 
I would take a Gamerverse Black Heart on the BaF mold, depending on who he came with. But it would be a very easy sell most likely, for me.

I'd assume you're getting the BlackHeart reissue but slightly more blued like in the game, whether he comes with the winged pigs or goblins to attach to him remains to be seen.

Gambit and Cyclops I might get, perhaps Rogue, Storm and even Iceman. I'm only into Gamerverse stuff that seems like somewhat of an upgrade. If it's just an obvious palette swap, I aint interested.
