Bro, we can absolutely commiserate there.
I still remember walking out of each of those films, bitterly angry and disappointed. Like I was *crestfallen*. Just . . . oh man, even thinking about them makes me sad. Nothing they have done to any character in the MCU twists in my gut like what they did to my precious Otto Octavius. I literally leapt off the couch and CHEERED when I watched Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-man recently and there was Otto, a sneering, arrogant, psychopathic douchebag as he FUCKING SHOULD BE.

I've heard some rumors about a few match-ups happening in Doomsday and I find that has me really excited. I thought I'd be tired of heroes fighting heroes by now, but Misunderstanding Fights (tm) are why you have a shared universe.

Thor vs Iron Man, Thor vs. Hulk, Iron Man vs Hulk, and the whole back half of Civil War, just a part of my fandom, I guess.

I don't think they'll be a significant part of the movie (or even last very long), but my interest is up for possible Avengers vs X-Men fights or something crazy like Loki vs Doom.
 
Loki is basically a good guy now, right. So it makes sense for him to fight Doom, as Loki is literally holding time together, or whatever.

And Avengers fighting X-Men because they refuse to talk like adults is classic Marvel Comics.
