This is true! What's really weird is, the two roles that I played in drag I got more female attention than any of the others! I don't know why that is, but I certainly didn't complain!

Oh, both my parents are transphobic, MAGA nuts as well! While my siblings are far more conservative than I am, they still think our parents are nuts for their worship of the Mango Messiah. They wonder why no one wants to go visit them...

Oh, I could fill a book with all the awful crap my mom has said to me over the years. She definitely doesn't as much anymore, but some of the gems she's said over the years still rattle in my skull. My best friend has a crazy mom as well, and much of our early bonding was over the vile things our mothers had said. Until I met him, I don't think I'd ever met anyone who had been verbally torn down as much as my mother did me.

Definitely essential. I give them a quick hit of that now and then, though I also try once a month to remove the contents of one shelf and give everything a thorough cleaning.
 
Bit the bullet and am giving up on some lines. I've sold off all my MOTU and McF DC stuff and am about 60 percent through selling off my GIJ collection. Will be whittling down my Mythic Legions figures as well. Marvel Legends will be the hardest for me to let go. I've done a good job cherry picking new releases this Q4, but I've still got an unwieldy amount of Legends. Taking a break from this forum actually helped me quite a bit in slowing down and letting go. You bunch of enablers. :)
 
Yeah, this is where I am. It's getting out of control. I have no room, I can barely walk through my nerd cave, it is becoming frustrating to navigate all of these releases and the rising costs because of Diaper McDipshit and his dipshit tariffs...

...and the wife and I are really trying to save for a move to a new house out of the suburbs and into the sticks.

So, while I love this hobby and love talking to you guys about this hobby, I'm sorry, but I love my wife more. And the home on a plot of land, with a little pond and some ducks is all she wants, and she's getting what she wants. Like this year, I refuse to push it back any further.
