Figura Obscura

I haven't pushed the Mouse King to the extend they did, but he's like from another line. The tail is probably the most articulate rubber/bendy appendage I've seen on a figure so far, and I hate bendy tails because they never feel right.
 
I've seen them mention a new "waist cut." Are they referring to the mid-torso articulation? Is it only a cut (swivel) joint? Or is it a ball?
 
I'm trying real hard not to buy this guy, but I really like the look of him and the range of motion is not making it easier.
 
I just really wish they could find a way to reel the prices in a bit. I would really like to have this figure, but I just don't see it as a $90 shipped quality of release. I know the price has gone up on everything under the sun, but I just couldn't justify the overall cost of this one.
 
I think my only complaint with the Mouse King is I'm not as impressed with the range on the butterflies as I thought I'd be. Mostly cause of how stiff they are. Still happy they're there, and he's a really good looking figure all over. I wanted it for the "warrior" look but the king parts are so well done, it feels like a shame to not use those.
 
Yeah, my main complaint with him is that I want the warrior look but dang, the scarred face with the crown? So cool. He's legit got too many good parts to use all at once.
 
I've been so busy with the holidays that I haven't been on here all month, but I finally set up my Mouse King, and I absolutely love him! He was my most wanted December Figura Obscura after Krampus.
 
I caved and got the Mouse King. I'll likely use some of the other heads on some of the space armored bodies I have for weird aliens for the FF to interact with or something.
If I had more standard armored bodies they'd be great foes for my small battalion of cat warriors, but I haven't really gotten much ML other than the cats and some of the random skeleton themed figures.
 
I'm so tempted to buy a second. I'd love to have all of the heads for more mice, but the multihead is too perfect for the character.
