Found these on Hobby Link Japan and boy i wish I could see them in context with a few 1/12 figures to see how they scale. I'm sure they trend towards true 1/12 and smaller like most import stuff, but boy these would be neat backdrops for a lot of figures.

Also I just grabbed one of these from 52Toys main store on AllieExpress and it's definitely going in some displays with my science-y figures. If you order from Allie Express they come with the alternate transparent green tubing, and they're built to both fit small magnets to put on your fridge or whatever ADN they're built to work with lego as well. The standard single cube arrangement for them is 2.5 inches square so just right for a desktop project for Dr Doom, Tony Stark, or Beast.

Oh, I also got this from 52Toys as well a few months back and it scales *perfectly* with Marvel Legends and other 1/12 scale stuff. Also the ceiling robot eye thing can light up!

Those are gorgeous! Especially that one that looks like a castle interior. Looking at stuff like that often sparks my desire to attempt my own version.
Yeah, I'm getting closer and closer to taking some time off from work just to build some diorama stuff in peace at the makerspace. Ultimately I want to do a large Sentinel factory for my X-Men to destroy, but in the meantime I want to do a mystical library, an armory, a lab, and a scifi prison. And you can kinda tell form the stuff I've been getting/coveting.

One more for the road. I got this kit from Big Bad Toystore a while back, but you can still find some online if you look a bit, and usually not for too much. It's a great fit for Marvel Legends and other 1/12 stuff. Right now I've got my ROM inside mine on my desk. If folks saw my pick of the new Savage Land Prof X in one of the other threads here you've seen this in action, but I figure it should live here too for other folks into dio stuff like me.

I wish there were more local toy companies doing stuff in this vein, really cool prop and dio pieces for our figures to live in, but it's mainly the overseas folks who make them and they tend to sell out *fast*.

Damn. That Hibernation unit is cool. Wish I had picked one up when they were much more affordable. Only see them for $40-60 now.

Honestly? $40-60 is still worth it in my opinion. A friend of mine picked up 3 (they can link together) and I'm kinda kicking myself for not doing that. It's a real good looking piece, and perfect for so many scenes. You always got use for a big ominous tube.

Funnily enough this came up in the tariffs thread, but it is the sort of large dio piece I'd consider. It's big, but also sort of doubles as storage. The one thing I'm not sure about is the manufacture of it. Looking around online at the company's socials makes me thing these are all 3d printed, which isn't terrible or anything, but I really do not like layer lines, even fine ones. I don't know. It is basically $100 for a big colorful box, so int he end I'll probably pass on it, but it tempts me still.

I mean, if you want something like that, Extreme_Sets did have a 1/12 scale dock set with shipping containers and ground piece.

Extreme_Sets are cool, but I'm just not the biggest fan of the compromises inherent to their materials. That's not a knock to them, I think it's a great compromise to be able to put out more and more wide ranging dio stuff that is impressively convincing in photos. For me though, I want something that sells the experience in 3 dimensions.

Ok, I changed the title of this thread to include vehicles because it seems like we don't have a thread for non-franchise ones of those and I needed a place to stick this lad I saw on BBTS this week. Price doesn't seem half bad for the features and paint. I'd probably prefer non transparent look since that would fit better with stuff like Star Wars, but also this does look pretty rad anyway, and the stripped down version would still work fine. Will I get it? Maaaaybe. Can't say. I'm running out of room and I'm still waiting on the second run of the Ramen Racer, but that being said, it is neat:
