Yeah, the cinematics were fun AF, too. They did so much great worldbuilding for a game that was mostly murking other players as efficiently as possible. (Sort of the same way I wish I could enjoy Rivals as a game because I think the character designs are LUDICROUS but entertaining and would pick a lot of them up as Legends.)
 
Just opened the Punisher/Fury set.

They come with a ton of stuff, six firearms between them, three pairs of hands each, a briefcase with cash, a grenade, an explosion effect, an extra snarling Frank head. I wasted no time removing the white paint from his leg under the holster and he may be my favorite Punisher figure ever. He just looks exactly like the classic Punisher in my mind. Fury is weird. The outfit is weird (sweater and leggings and boots? Is he a high school girl?) His mouth is sculpted agape, and while it looks like it should fit a cigar, with no cigar it just looks dumb. His upper teeth look too small too so he looks like Gaten Matarazzo from Stranger Things. The torso is newly sculpted, but very specific to the webgear, which is keyed into the sculpt. I was kinda psyched for this figure but he winds up being pretty lame.
 
My Frank and Nick set should be here tomorrow. First thing I’m gonna do is donate one of the heads to the all-black Frank from the last two pack.

Is that white paint pretty easy to remove without issue? Was planning to do that to both of mine and swap a SHIELD army builder holster onto one of them

Trivia:

Daredevil was intended to be the P2 option, but Marvel licensing was wonky even then. So they reworked Frank as Fury.

So the old magazine lore tells it.

Wow I did not know that!
A fair spate of my early and enduring love for Nick Fury came from that game. Coulda gone real differently, it seems.
 
Amazon still says 11/25 for the set, wouldn't mind getting it sooner. The Fury head does lok weirder and weirder the more I look at it it - I wonder if the Fury head from the three-pack from last year would fit? I dig that one a lot.

The sweater and leggings thing is so goofy but it feels very comic book-y. Skin-tight, muscle-defined pants on men in the most awkward of situations was always a thing, silly as it looks.

I dunno, I'm really loving the way Fury looks. Those colors work for me for some reason! I bought a cigar set from Gridiron Studios last year that will definitely come in handy.

If anyone has a good generic blonde guy head laying around I'd also be curious to see how he works as a Clay Quartermain standin. This is a far cry from his iconic orange and yellow SHIELD suit, but there's shades of it.

Very interesting! And makes a lot more sense - Punisher/Fury isn't a crazy pairing, but it definitely seems odd to make a whole video game out of it.
