Marvel Legends Two-Packs

I opened Starfox/Champion today. They’re fine. I have little attachment to either character. Starfox has enough name recognition and helps to complete that ‘80s era Avengers team. But that’s about all he’s worth to me. I know he had a thing with She-Hull too, so he can fight Man Wolf for her. Champion is fine. The Caliban body doesn’t really hold up, with those diagonal shin cuts. The reds throughout his legs don’t match. He’s a so-so figure.

As far as 2-pack pairings go I think Moondragon/Drax and Starfox/Champion are pretty solid. In general, I think the pairings recently have been pretty great - with some notable exceptions like Lilandra/Broodverine.

In an effort to make my quintessential Punisher, I inadvertently made a Spider-Man the Animated Series version. The toughest part was swapping the glove cuffs. I always heat with a hair dryer, but these cuffs are so thin it was challenging to keep them from tearing. It was worth the work though.

Yeah see just make that, with a Non Grrrr head, Hasbro, and we'll be all good.

Hell yeah. That's what I was curious to do. Do the cuffs need much force?

I have been looking for all the two packs showing up at Ross for weeks now and finding nothing. However I found a loose complete Wong yesterday at a local comic shop so I promptly bought him. Only reason I wanted the Dr. Strange in that pack was the new magic effects but not worried about it now. The shop also had a loose complete Drax from the two pack with Moonstone. Might need to grab it as well.

Agree with the folks above who have said these are great one and done figures. They're both on slightly out of date bodies but they're not pivotal, favorite characters, so that's fine - just want a Starfox to hand with the Avengers, and Champion's a fun addition to the cosmic shelf.

I'm curious why they gave Starfox a hand hinged properly to hold a sword but not accessories--he feels like he's got a grip waiting for an object.

This being Starfox, I reckon we probably know what object was supposed to go there.

The Champion / Starfox 2-pack is easily my favorite Legends offering of the year. So happy to have figures of both characters at long last.

It may be the only 2-pack in recent history where I legitimately wanted both figures. I can't think of another example of that in a very long time.

Opened Starfox/Champion and I like them a lot, especially Champion.
It’s creepy to own Starfox, though, especially as he has a “knowing grin” expression on his face. Eeeeeew, dude.
