G.I. Joe Classified Series

Would the darker skin toned head in the marine sniper pack be a good fit to be Iron Knifes sister or cousin? They kinda look similar to me. And I really like the SIK figure.

I could see that working. Mine is Mexican but obviously not much of a stretch.

I also kinda want a good Rey Stevenson head for my Firefly figure now. The one from Ahsoka could work but he didn't have the beard in the movie.

That’s the one movie figure I enthusiastically want. Firefly had a cool look in the movie, beefy and menacing and kinda punk rock, and Ray made a lot out of the character. I want him as Frank Castle over in Marvel Legends as well.

I'd be happy with that figure and display him unmasked, and I don't know who he'd be but a non-Firefly Cobra.

Ray was good in everything. He was probably the most genuinely Punisher of all the Punishers, and his Firefly is the only time I ever gave a shit about Firefly. And my god was he good in Rome (I also don't like Roman history very much but I was -riveted- by that show and his performance). Little appreciated as the show was, he also stole the show in a few episodes of Medici AND he played Blackbeard in that pirate show (Black Sails?). I'd take action figures of all those guys.

Just sayin'... Ray Stevenson head on a Savage Crucible figure would look pretty badass too. Back to Ace's point; I'm actually still a LITTLE salty that we got a fuckin' Thomas Jane Punisher in Marvel Legends, but never a Ray Stevenson Punisher.

As you should be. I was in the room when someone watched the Thomas Jane one and it looked like 90s shit, in a bad way.

The Thomas Jane movie was like.. fine.. in an unintentionally kind of silly way (like having his ENTIRE EXTENDED FAMILY gunned down instead of his wife and kids was basically just parody of the Punisher story). But Thomas Jane didn't act like Punisher at all in that film. If you filed off the name and blacked out the one time he was wearing the skull - you'd literally never know it was even -supposed- to be a Punisher film. It was just like a silly early 2000s revenge movie.

They just spent way too much time on not-Frank planning out this elaborate ruse to get everyone stupid and upset with each other and suchlike, when actual-Frank would have just blown up their house and been done with it.

Absolutely this.
It felt like it was already a half-filmed Travolta vehicle that they just stapled “The Punisher” title onto. Truly bizarre.

Honestly, if this was a script looking for a brand name to attach itself to, that would just make way more sense than this being intended to be a Punisher movie all along. I would 100% believe that, at the VERY least, this was a completely finished film script that they went back in and changed some names on when they realized they could do a Marvel thing.

I enjoyed the Tom Jane one. I want an updated figure of the old one since the coat basically disintegrated and the figure is showing its age. Stevenson was also Volstagg in the Thor films. And he was in the King Arthur movie with Clive Owen, Kiera Knightly, and Mads Mickelson. I like him as an actor and all of his protrayels were really good. Thats why I want the head. Him as firefly was so much fun.
