Marvel Toys on Sale

Today in Toys NOT on Sale...
Noticing a price creep at Amazon. Secret Wars Iceman went from 27.99 to 29.99, and beat up Pete from 39.99 to 41.99. Probably some other under the radar increases too. My POs were locked in on the early prices.
I just noticed they creeped on the new Iron Man figure from the Executioner wave. He's currently 29.99. Bezos, you so crazy. ...and creepy.

They did that on some classified figures as well. Zandar is the one I remember being stuck at 29.99 for a while but I think eventually came down? I think that whole wave was overpriced, yet waves since were regular price and remained there.

Amazon increases the "MSRP" price if the item sells well. They started doing this a few months ago. They go back down eventually, too. Walmart and Amazon are either programmed to match each other either automatically or by a customer who asks for a price match. Target.com will sometimes get price-matched to them as well, but not as often.

Target has a 25% off one you coupon going on this week if you somehow missed the sales last week.

Nice that it coincided with a bunch of new stuff landing in their stores or site for ML, Classified, and McF.

I saw that promotion and considered using it on the Cap/Venom set but they had that thing marked up to $68. No thank you.

Not directly Legends related I used that Target deal on that super colossal Jurassic World T-Rex that came out for the new movie. It was normally $75 but already on sale for $50, so did the 25% plus used a $10 reward that I had and got it for $28 shipped! It looks twice as big as any T-Rex that they've done before, but hard to tell in the package.

Not on sale, just surprising. While traveling this weekend, went into a Walgreens, just because you never know....
They had a Villians series Baron Zemo on shelf. Price was $31.99! Holy smokes. I left it with them. Maybe they're trying to get ahead on the price increases.

There are still Walgreens open? All the ones around me went out of business.
Oh yeah, tons. Here in NY, Walgreens and Duane Reade (owned by the same people, so they're basically the same) are the biggest pharmacy chain. There's basically one every couple blocks, followed somewhat closely by CVS. Those are the only big chains, everything else are little independent stores.

But yeah, I don't think I've seen anything new toy-wise at any of my Walgreens in years. One in the city still has Force Awakens Unkar Plutt; I say hi to him every time I go in- it's like seeing an old friend.
