Mini Comic Wave 2

Yeah, I just found it too. With any other company selling any sort of goods, you raise the price to avoid trimming what's in the package OR you trim what's in the package to avoid raising the price. One or the other. Hasbro just does both. Also, we're talking about little fists. It costs them nothing. Hasbro is just that cheap.

I wonder what other reuses we will see of this Rachel body. Maybe a black suit repaint?

I wouldn't hate a more fiery version like the old trading card. Stick her in a 3 pack with Meggan's orange costume and Brian's second Excalibur costume.

I don't place blame on the cost cutting or price increases on Hasbro fully, but to supply vendors with photos AND text about what is in the packaging and not update that information when it is obviously incorrect -Those figures would have been obviously specked out if not manufactured and packaged by the time those preorders happened 2 WEEKS AGO. That is egregiously false advertising. Even if someone had come out and said "Hey, we just wanted everyone to know we had to drop the parts count from what was promoted/solicited" before the final product showed up, that would have been something. But you know, I guess they fired all of those people. FUCK Hasbro for that shit.

Yeah, Hasbro knowingly advertised packaging with items they knew we wouldn't be getting, and that is shady as fuck. Hasbro's now doing their own fake news on what they advertise compared to what we are getting.

But they're receive no backlash that matters. No one is cancelling their orders for Rachel because of this. No one.
No not enough that would matter. But they should be subject to legal action from individuals, groups, or levied fines or penalties by the FTC. But that is funny now isn't it?

I donno, there are worse things to be mad about.
You could say that about anything. This is a thread specifically about this wave of figures. The encroaching end of western civilization as we have known it is an entirely different matter. For now (while there is still time to peruse a toy forum) this is still a relevant insult to the collecting community.

I canceled my preorders, but that was days before I heard about the hands from Toy Migos on Thursday night. I wouldn't cancel just for the hands. I'm mostly down on non-peak level MLs like Wolverine. Completely possible I would buy some if seen in-store.

She’s got a lot of new sculpt and big fire wings. I’d be pissed if those wings got cut. Hands? I’d put those in a baggie and forget they exist. I probably already have those hands in a baggie somewhere.

I agree. If they never showed we were getting them I wouldn't miss them..... much. But the whole reason the figure lost the 2 fisted hands is because they just HAD to put in that useless grip hand for the useless minicomic gimmick that should have been less useless by including the build-a-comic rack that we will never see, due to cost cutting.

The Fact that the Hasbro pulse site still has multiple posed promo shots of the figure with the missing hands, and the incorrect packaging is just bonkers. How hard would it be to remove the offending shots and add some text somewhere that said the item will come with less than originally advertised?

This is the kind of shit that lawyers used to handle. They were the reason they wouldn't let anyone overpromise anything verbally, but now there is blatant false advertising right in the promo shots. I guess they fired all of them too?

If they advertised Rachel without those hands in the first place I'd have still ordered her.

It's a small thing for sure, but I'd rather not have false advertising (no matter how small) be another notch in Hasbro's belt of things they know they can get away with.
