Hasbro Made-to-Order Figures

The wings and tail push it up, but DM is not a whole lot bigger than Gamerverse Abomination, maybe 130-150% with the extra 'limbs' but certainly not 200% which is where the cost is sitting compared to an average deluxe/baf figure offering.
The only thing I want to bring up here is that the percentage height or width difference doesn't have a direct correlation with price and never will. The square-cube law is in effect, and beyond that material costs are not always linear. This is obviously not the only thing affecting costs, but even if it were, it wouldn't scale 1-to-1.

With the size of his brows, they could have even added some articulation there to give more personality but still very nice as is.
I REALLY wish they had done this. And fixed the range of the neck hinge. That's such a basic mistake.

My Dragon Man is still lying on his back because he can't hold a pose.

Yeah, I brought up that they should have done the eyebrow articulation all the way back on page 14. I've seen several others mention it since then. I wonder if anyone on the Dragon Man design team even thought of it, or if they did and were shot down. Seems like a no-brainer to me.

Oh I completely mean these rough estimations in terms of cubic volume ONLY in that they've approached a lot of the engineering from the point of view of it being a scale up of the complexity of a standard figure or BAF, i.e. no real innovation or sign of anything particularly creative going on with how they've approached creating the figure, for instance his trunks could have been soft goods and thus hide some of the joints, something which they have done for Mephisto's cape and tabard so he'll be able to sit on his throne unlike the version that would have come with the Engine of Vengeance.

Agreed, or if not, at least they could have gone for a slightly angrier angle. I get they wanted to pull double duty as the Future Foundation one, but he ends up looking a shade benign for my tastes. I’m tempted to make tweaks, but for such a pricey figure, I’m loath to make the effort.

Still a fun figure, and I’ve been having lots of fun with him. I’m now considering buying the alt Jada Dhalsim, as I bet his huge flame effect would look good with DM.

Dragon Man shows sold out now, but I agree, if they actually had extras to sell (we'll see if any orders placed are honored) then telling folks they couldn't replace damaged ones is bad form on their part.
I got an order in when he went back up and it actually shipped.

That said, Hasbro should DEFINITELY be offering replacements/pieces for defective product that paying customers purchased.
It's not like they can tell them to go to the retailer for a replacement, they WERE the retailer in this situation.

I just got an email saying that my sentinels are about to ship. I thought these were expected to ship in December??

I reread it and the email is completely contradictory - either it's about to ship OR it's shipping December 15th.

Kind of a big difference.

1. Your Item Will Ship Soon!

We wanted to give you a heads up that your order is getting ready to ship!

2. A pre-order date has a new shipping date:

Regrettably, we must inform you there has been an unexpected delay in shipping the following item below:

G06525L00 - Marvel Legends Series X-Men '97 Marvel's Sentinel

The new approximate ship date for this item is: December 15, 2025
………………………………………………….

Thanks for the mixed message, Hasbro!

Yeah, I got the "about to ship" in three months email too. I'm picturing them leaving now, but they're using a new shipping technology:

I guess some of you aren’t preordering at Pulse regularly anymore because these emails are very common. Even this morning I got more emails like it, telling me my item will ship soon, then give me either a far off date or a date that’s already passed! I tend to brace myself but the emails are inaccurate predictors. They do give a sense though of what’s to come.
