I don’t understand it either. I think it may have something to do with the fact that it’s also a part of the “Theatrical Edition ” sub line but that’s just me speculating so don’t take it as gospel. Either way it’s very strange. At least throw in some penguins like MTS did

Man, what a clusterfuck. It seems the Toy Gods took a day off. As much as I try not to complain and give Todd the benefit of the doubt, he does pretty consistently prove me wrong (or right, I suppose). He's made some good figures, but I'll still be pretty thankful when Mattel gets the license back. Assuming that they'll make it any easier. We do live in an "Exclusive" Society nowadays. Like, I want Todd to give us the remaining live action characters- Nicholson Joker, Oldman Gordon, Caine Alfred, Neeson Ra's- but I dread the inevitable headache if he were to release them.

Even though I got my orders in for all of them, somehow, I'm not gonna rest easy until they're all in hand.
 
Crazy that basically nobody here got Shreck. Sigh…if the collectors who refresh at 12pm don’t get him then who did? Stinks having to support this company while also knowing we’re never getting another Max Shreck figure. A bunch of needless hoops to go through.

Waited forever for Batman Returns and they always find a way to make me feel a little worse about what I just bought. At least Pfeiffer Catwoman looks great.
 
Is penguin still available anyplace? My GameStop searches have been interesting to say the least
 
Man, that was a mess of a lunch hour. Got everything but Max, which was the guy I wanted the most, of course. I never found a Lucius, so I'm worried this is going to be more of the same.

I missed the McFarlane bundle, so had to get the Penguin Commandos as a single and waste more money there. Got the main three on BBTS, and at least got free shipping on the Duck over at GameStop. Hope Max is absolutely everywhere at retail. Love that he comes with the burnt face! Hate the price point, but this is Batman Returns we're talking about here. I was in no matter what, unlike McFarlane's other offerings.
 
I managed to get Shreck through a direct link of an IG account I follow.

Also, got the bundle from the McFarlane Store. Very excited for this wave. Batman Returns was the first superhero movie I saw in theaters (depending on if you count TMNT as superhero), so huge nostalgia for it. Wish Todd didn’t make it so hard to buy these, though!

I did thanks to some Instagram account that posted a link, and thanks to my coworker jibber-jabbering at me at noon I didn't finish actually checking out of the McF store so missed out on the bundle I still have in my cart.
 
Yeah, I got lucky with Shreck. MTS for Batman and the penguin set and GameStop for Catwoman and Penguin - had to opt for the Duck set. Expensive and more than a little frustrating - if it wasn’t Batman returns I wouldn’t have been playing these games.

I did. Followed ToyShiz's link, but from what I've gathered, it was a stroke of stupidly good luck. Seems like I may have loaded the page right when it went up, and because I was already logged in and auto-filled, I sped through checkout. But mere seconds after my order went through, the page wasn't loading anymore. All within maybe 30 seconds.

I feel like it's almost gotta be some sort of bot situation; I can't imagine they sold through all of their stock that quickly without some outside shenanigans. Unless there's just more forced exclusivity, and Todd/Gamestop/someone is limiting the number available in each drop? It's weird that it happened 2 days in a row. I know the Returns wave was super anticipated, as were some of the figures from yesterday, but multiple sites selling through their entire stock in less than a minute 2 days in a row? Something smells fishy, and it ain't Penguin.

Agreed. Don't even know if they could if they wanted to. They supposedly tried to make Pfeiffer Catwoman a couple times, but (supposedly) the cost of likeness rights kept getting in the way. Bigger companies with more overhead, more people to please, etc. don't seem to have the freedom that Todd has, or so he claims, even if he still has DC to answer to. That is, I'll give him, perhaps his biggest plus, amidst a sea of negatives. He operates just as much as a fanboy as he does a business man, and he knows what a lot of fans want. I don't see us getting a Shreck again for a long, long time, if ever. Same with many of the cooler, more toyetic designs of the earlier waves.
