Oh I get it. And everyone is allowed to like what they like for whatever reason. I'm just partial to new characters over same character in different outfits, so even when the new character is derivative I'll take that over 'same ol guy' version 11.
 
I think for me he is too 90s-ed up heh. I do hope they make him, and other characters from non-RAH lines, just not for me. I have room for maybe eight more Joe characters so I got a be choosey. The villains however, my Cobra shelf is a lot bigger so I can go nuts there.

I have too many Snake Eyes in that I can't decide who gets to be on display at any given time. I also got too many Snake Eyes on the same day when I got V4 and MASS Device Snake Eyes simultaneously. But long-term, Snake Eyes is my Wolverine (and Daredevil) is my Ben Kenobi in that I will stupidly buy every variation they make of him until the end of time. I swear there's one person in every line. Green Arrow, Battlecat in MOTU, Tigra in Thundercats, any weird variant of Raphael... there's always someone I like even more but they're someone we won't get yearly variations of (Flint in Joes, Daredevil, etc).

Oh, I own it. :) Every time someone does one of those "who's your favorite X-Man?" polls I"m like you want the truth or you want me to try to sound cool? Cos I'm a pumpkin spice latte Wolverine fan. But my second favorite is Banshee so I like to tailor my basic-ness with actual suffering.

My most-wanted Joe is Spearhead and Max so I started collecting Classified assuming I'd die disappointed but the way this line does deep dives I swear he's gotta be on the 2026 or 2027 roadmap.

My hope is that they are delaying him while they try to figure out how much articulation they can put into Max so he's not a statue.
 
Was the armored CC's iguana a statue? I honestly don't know. And depending on how big he is, I wonder if Spearhead could get away with not being a deluxe. Unless they mutate Max or something....
 
I trust that Max will turn out great - all their animal sidekicks so far have been really good. I definitely want Spearhead sooner rather than later.
 
I think there's just as much merit in wanting alternate costumes for characters as there is for wanting brand new characters.
 
I'm legit picturing them trying to figure out what scale Max has to be for him to have digitigrade articulation like the dogs do. I'm kinda hoping Max is a bit chonkier than he was in the original toy to allow for more articulation and also bobcats can be shockingly big.

I believe the iguana has at least swivels at the shoulders. Maybe the rear legs too? And maybe the head swivels? But I know definitely the front shoulders swivel.
 
Totally derailing the intent of the thread but speaking of pet articulation, I had Shipwreck for a YEAR before I realized there was a slot for Polly on his rope in addition to his wrist. I was bummed out I couldn't get him on his shoulder. I love how often this line surprises me.
