Marvel Legends Gamerverse

Yeah, it's mine. Been messing around with him today trying to find my favorite crouch for the shelf, but I keep playing with him instead.
 
Yeah, he definitely moves the best out of any of them. Almost as good as those Storm Street Fighters.

Definitely an action figure you can hear.

Yeah, Wolverine looks awesome in everyone's photos. But I'll probably still continue to skip out on him because I just don't know what I'd DO with him. He's just too big for me to like him in the Marvel display. Even crouched he'll look wrong to me next to anyone else. And he's too bright and cartoony to fit in with any 7" stuff I have where he might (maybe!) look more scale-appropriate. He'd be a lot of fun fighting my Savage Crucible stuff, but again - he's SO bright and more 'toy-like' that I'm not sure how they'd really look together.

Maybe if I ever see him on super-sale I'll get him just as a desk hand-candy kind of thing.
 
In hand he looks less cartoonish. Still bright. The matte helps.

I got my Cap set. I ordered two for paint because every Cap I ever get, the Star and mask are weak spots. And two is not enough for my QC demands here.

I agree. While he definitely has the hallmarks of the MvC Wolverine but he’s also very comic based. Not to mention he has one of the best head sculpts and set of claws compared to every other version of Wolverine that Hasbro has ever done. He’s spot on and I’m so glad Hasbro made this guy. I’ve said it before but I’ve wanted a figure of this exact Wolverine since 1994

Yeah, the claws are well done. Also love his expression.

I've been putting him in extreme Sam Keith and Madureira poses all afternoon.

He's not my daily driver Wolverine, but like Fleischer Superman, it just hits something for the inner child.
 
Gah my six month old puppy got to my Gamerverse Venom and chewed off the feet and head! I gotta pick up a new set, but I don't mind having an extra Captain America.
 
He's definitely a pretty bright yellow. I have the '92 VHS Wolverine and I'd say the yellow on Gamerverse Wolverine is a touch more saturated making him appear even brighter than that one. I don't think he's going to "work" for most comic displays aside from those who are flippant when it comes to scale. He's definitely meant for an MvC shelf and that's where he'll feel most at home.

Received my Cap/Venom set last week- Amazon slapped a sticker on it and put it in the mail. Not even a paper envelope. I honestly don't care because the packaging goes straight into the recycling, but I think that's the first time that's happened to me.
Anyway, nothing to add that hasn't been said. Fun set, love the Cap. Moving forward, I demand a screaming alternate portrait for every. Single. Marvel. Legend. NO EXCEPTIONS!

I've got the Wolvie/Sam set plugged into Keepa and will snag if it ever hits my threshold.

My Psylocke/Fantomex/Nimrod set came like that years ago. Its so annoying. I don't keep boxes either but I don't want people seeing what I bought on my porch and thinking they need it more then me. Not to mention, ANY protections is better then no protection.

Cap is fine but Wolverine spoiled me. Cap is the usual, "this is neat but it could easily be way better." Are the butterflies a big step up? Sure, but they've been standard for years now. When we don't get them, we are disappointed. So as usual, Cap is still behind the curve. I wish I could tilt his torso for his iconic eagle winning pose from MvC2, but nope, it's never going to look quite right.

I also wish his default head had the subtle smile from his thumbs up pose, it looks weird having him do a thumbs up with a frown. Maybe I'll repaint the secret wars head or something.

While I'm griping, Silver Samurai would be a much funner figure if his shoulder pauldrons were on ball joints instead of these pins that pop out every two seconds. You can't even angle them upwards like the sprite.
