ML Secret Wars

I'll be so disappointed if they don't do Volcana, but it sounds like they're not. The sixth figures is pretty stronlgy rumored to be Magik now. Always subject to change though as we've seen Hasbro change their plan of how they distribute figures several times now that are different than the leaks.

I'm sure Volcana is on their radar. It'd be great to see her in the SW wave, but I won't be counting her out if she doesn't show up. At this point I'm not sure there's anyone who's NOT on their radar.

Since at last count there were over 80,000 characters in the Marvel universe, they can't ALL be on their radar. LOL! However, good for them if they have a giant checklist somewhere!!

Volcana definitely needs to be on the radar, though! (Although I'd honestly kind of like to have Magma first)

@Beamish, how many more years do you think that you'll need before you've covered all 80k+ in your One A Day? Maybe you should pick up the pace. ;) It should only take like 3 lifetimes... :ROFLMAO:

Hehe - well, over on Fwoosh I have 1337 entries. Some of those entries have been with multiple characters (Zodiac, Mutant Liberation Front, The Twelve, Guest Star Days where the Guest Star could pick multiple characters, etc.). I'd guesstimate we have seen maybe 3000 characters, vehicles, danger rooms and weapons so far.
I've got a way to go...

I just recently stopped using the Fwoosh, cause the site has a habit of logging us out, every 3 or so weeks. Even though I put remember me. & even if I was logged on, earlier that day, I would go back later on, in the day, and it would've logged me out, suddenly. I just got tired of re-logging back in, ever 3 or so weeks, so I just stayed logged out, and stopped going, the last time it happened.

We all appreciate your efforts, @Beamish! Don't ever stop, please. You're the best! I look forward to that content every single day. You should start a YouTube channel. I'm sure that there are a lot of us that would subscribe. For real.

So, wave one Secret Wars Wolverine...
I've seen a lot of hate for him online but, I have to admit that despite the narrow tapering of his brown(-ish orange) torso-into-abdomen details, I've grown to like him ...a lot.
Something about that smirk scratches that Byrne era "hey elf, hand me a brew" itch and has made him my exists-outside-the-display figure for many months now. I'm constantly fiddling with him and posing him in all sorts of different ways.
That being said, I really wish he had come with at least one hand that gripped a can of brew and another with a cigar between his fingers so I could have him lounging with Kurt, getting tipsy on the weekend while everyone else played baseball in the backyard.
He's just a solid build and his claws are some of the most straight iterations I've received from all the different releases.

I guess it's high time I paint his brown details proper.

Yeah, I really like that Wolverine. My favourite unmasked Logan heads are the ones that came with the Madripoor / Psylocke set, and he looks perfect with either to me. I don't even mind the off colours, reminds me of the newsprint coloring.

I had planned on skipping the Secret Wars Wolverine altogether, but a local comic shop had him for $15.99 due to the plastic starting to separate from the card, so I ended up grabbing him at that price. I don't love it. I've got the '97 2-pack version with Storm pre-ordered and I expect to like that one just a little better. Right now the Tiger Stripe Wolverine from the X-Men '97 wave is my favorite. Beyonder and Titania are still the big winners for me from the Secret Wars wave, although the Cap is my favorite Cap right now ahead of the new Gamerverse version. I'm still hoping to pick the up the Lady Mandarin / Madripoor Wolvie 2-pack at some point. It was the only Wolvie 2-pack that I skipped pre-ordering.
