Amazing Yamaguchi

There wasn't already a thread for this, so I figured I'd make one.


Got my Himiko Toga in, but I'm not gonna open her yet. I usually like to have a few figures to open at once. I also got the version with the extra face, so thats exciting.

I preordered Ayane and Kasumi from Ninja Gaiden. I may get Ryu too, but they are expensive. These will be my first foray into this line. And I probably won't stay long. Just a couple cool ones. Cause the price, and tariff shit going on, just gonna get expensive. As is Ryu is over $100. I was tempted to cancel the other 2 cause of the tariff thing but I'll have to see how much the final price is, especially since Ayane is sold out at BBTS and I already put a deposit down for her. She was preordered long before the tariff shit started.

My Toga came today, but I was in class. Routed it to pick up tonight after class.

As far as POs go, I used my 15% at EB Canada to get Ryu, Ayane, Kasumi, Harley, and Hatsune in a track suit or something.

Y'know technically most of these aren't AY, just Revoltech.

That's weird. The website had it listed as Amazing Yamaguchi.

I heart her, and she bolsters my enthusiasm for the Ninja Gaiden and Harley.

Those elbow and wrist joints are kinda rough on that figure. Probably because of the puffiness of the outfit. They don't look nearly as noticeable on the NG figures. I think those sort of joints translate better on more form fitting attire. Alot of dragon stars figures from Bandai look like those wrist and ankles, it stopped me from buying anymore and just upgrading to the figuarts figures. At least those were cool af and tried to hide those joints.

Yeah. That was my big nitpick from the solicitation pics. That bring said, it wasn't enough for me to pass on her.

The MHA women aren't Amazing Yamaguchi for some reason, but they match the MHA dudes perfectly, so I don't know why the distinction.

My Toga is sitting in my HLJ Private Warehouse, because I couldn't afford to ship her before this tariff bullshit. So now I don't know WHEN I'll get her. I have 6 months of hold time for free. Sigh...this fucking shithole country, man...
