That looks cool. But holy crap is it gonna be expensive. The cryptids are what, less then half the size and a $100+? This is definitely going to be in the $350 range, and that may be too low. I don't think very many people could afford it quite honestly, or at least can afford it and care about Cthulu, and have the shelf space, and not have other figures to buy too. This needs to be a made to order i would think. Otherwise I feel like its just too expensive.

I can't fathom they'd be able to pull it off without doing the crowdfund model. And I'll be shocked if it comes in at less than $400.

I can't imagine that Tentacles McMadness being anything but roto-cast parts.

And honestly, I dunno that I want a superhero-proportions Cthulhu. I prefer the sickly 'frog body' look for him.

Yeah, I’m not crazy about the proportions they have on their figures. Way too big. They can still be big but have more realistic proportions. Even characters like Juggernaut are rarely done in such a massive style.

Yeah I'm also not vibing with the muscle-dude approach to the proportions. Aside from it being wildly top-heavy, and typically restricting range of motion, it also just doesn't feel eldritch, y'know? How much does Cthulhu bench? It's just a weird choice. Cthulhu should have bulk, and should feel massive, but I don't think more muscles is how to get there.

Thinking on it, I don't think I've ever seen a Cthulhu sculpt I liked more than the Heroclix one. I wish more folks would go that route. I feel like most of the other Cthulhu sculpts I've seen either get too busy (like WAY WAY too busy) or in this case seem to think of Cthulhu as like a superhero monster instead of a monster monster, if that makes sense.

You guys are right in that this isn't the Body I would have chosen, but it's still good enough for me.

Grendel finally dropped into my Pile; and hey, whattayaknow, that NECA Thailog gargoyle on sale for only $17 could make for a pretty decent Argent the Wolf stand-in.

Shipped my smallest PoL ever because Grendel. Three figures.

I rushed to see how close he was to my vision of the wolf, fully expecting to curse you for talking me in to getting him.
I don't know what it is. Too smooth? Too Small? Both? He's not close enough to my image of Argent to get him.
