Operation Monster Force

I'm sure krakens/lagoon creatures are on the short list. They'll probably come with frog heads or something so they can sell them as Deep Ones, but they'll have alternate heads to recreate the Palitoy figure for sure.

I rapid-fired my wishlist a while back, but aside from Mr. Hyde, I can't think of any more "classic" classic monsters for the line. Not counting alternate presentations of things we already have, like mummies and vampires.

But if we expand our idea of "classic" to include some 50s icons, then I definitely want to see a Human Fly scientist. I also really want some Vincent Price representation and figure a House of Wax-style melty man shape-shifter would look awesome (and give a reason why his alternate head looks like the famous actor).

I don't know a lot about non-European horror characters, but think it's worth exploring. Fer instance, I would snatch up a luchador hero who allied with O:MF to stop his ancient foe, an Aztec mummy.

I wish I could get excited about 13 Ghosts. So far they're either just guys in suits with interesting half-masks, or a full-on samurai guy with a full oni mask. I think I'd prefer a middle ground of regular guy with full oni mask. Hard to say, but it still feels like one doesn't go far enough while the other goes too far.

I think if they start dipping into myth they could get themselves some bat people by referencing Camazotz.

Close enough?

Some more demonic type creatures could be added. And definitely more Cryptids! Moth Man, Lizard People, & Chupacabra, for sure.

I know he's technically not Monster Force, but I just got shipping notification from BBTS about the white Veteran William I ordered last week and now I am anticipating having a Monster Force compatible werewolf in my collection with the energetic enthusiasm of my dog knowing his humans will absolutely "accidentally" drop cheese in his bowl.

I am really, REALLY trying to go easy on this line in terms of preorders but I'd already added Eraser because the design aesthetics on that figure are so right in my wheelhouse for what I like, but Dr. Caligari is really calling my name, too. That video didn't help slow me down.

Not really a “monster” but some urban wizards like Harry Dresden could make an interesting addition to the line, with witches making an obvious counter to them. They’ve got some magic with the Forgotten King so some magical help on the good guys side is probably needed at some point.

Yeah, my old next door neighbor, very blunt but chill, dude was in Nam. Like early days Nam when the US were just "advising", but he didn't look a day over 60. Pretty sure homie had some magic spells, charms, wards and curses under his sleeves. Only yard to be impeccable after a hurricane. Straight up wizardry.

There is Mr. Legacy, the foremost historian of the arcane. He comes with a couple spellbooks, but his bio avoids saying if he himself is a magician.

Also, there are a few characters in their 1/18 O:MF line and one of them, the Advocate, has this in his description:

... powerful factions like the Van Helsings, Salem Sisters, and the Sleepy Hollow Militia.

I asked about them over on the FMF Facebook page, and was only told that more info on these groups would be coming "soon."

My last novel was all about urban magicians, basically a love letter to Hellblazer. I would buy the f*ck out of Dresden-esque figures.
