McFarlane DC Multiverse

What color ring is Toxic Masculinity? Finally Hal will find his corps!
It's the color you see reflecting in the eyes of any man who sank countless thousands into pickup artistry courses and was then shocked that the woman at the bar who was reading her book by herself was actually just there to read a book by herself.

I may be off on my current lore, but I believe the “we will try to force you to get busy” color is Violet, aka “love” aka Star Sapphires aka the (mostly?) “girl group”. Sigh. Because comics in the 2000s.

Me too. Love Cowardly Lot Batman and is also my definitive default Batman. No Man’s Land Batman is my favorite classic Batman.

And I don’t know why. I was about to pass on CL Batman. Glad I didn’t. He’s gonna be tough to find down the road.
Yep. My two definitive Batman's as well. I wasn't going to pass on CL Batman but was shocked how easily I found him at Target.

I received my Deathstroke, Metron & Mirror Master figures today from MTS. The Super Friends wave 2 figures will arrive on Tuesday. My Mr. Bones & Obsidian figures haven't shipped yet. They originally said October on the MTS website but when I looked today they are buy now instead of preorder.

I have seen wave 2 of the Super Friends starting to hit stores but I haven't seen the platinum Superman figure yet. I have been looking for the platinum Metron & Mirror Master figures but I don't think they are in my area yet. I feel like I can take my time looking for these and not check every day wondering which store will have them.

I received a ton of stuff this week from various sources... regular Metron, Kite-Man, both Deathstrokes, both Mirror Masters, both Dark Archers, 1 platinum Darkstar and 4 regular ones, and Batwing 2.0. It was a lot for one week. I think that the Pattionson Batmobile is supposed to arrive tomorrow and Bones/Obsidian on Tuesday. I'm going to need to take a break for a bit! Marvel Legends Spider-Man '77 came today also. BBTS tells me that the Jada Sooby stuff is incoming also.

Of all of those, Kite-Man is my favorite with the Platinum Tommy Merlyn right behind. I expect to like Bones even more, though. My least favorite of what came this week is the Platinum Deathstroke and I kind of wish that I had skipped that. Honestly, maybe even both Deathstrokes. I skipped the Page Puncher and got these and probably should have done the opposite.

I agree that Cowardly Lot Batman has been unusually easy to find. I've purchased 2 but my Target has had 2 more sitting there for what seems like weeks now. My Gamestop has one also and a No Man's Land Batman. Odd to see them sit there that long.

I think people have reached maximum Batman saturation.

And there we go, No Man's Land mod complete. The belt came off of a Knightfall Batman, then I ran a wire through the cape.

I had to head the belts up, then I pried through the glue with a small flat-head screwdriver. It wasn't extremely difficult. Same with the head, had to heat it up, then pry it off.

To me this is more Knightfall than Todd's Knightfall Batman which is what I was going for. I like the blue and grey shades a lot more. The only thing I miss is the sculpted bat symbol. Pretty happy with this.

I mean, heck- you could theoretically have a whole line of just Lantern corps members- there's certainly enough. I know GL's popularity isn't at its peak right now, but hopefully when the Lanterns show releases, it'll see a little surge. But of course, by then, it'll be too late for McFarlane to do anything about it. Would be nice if he could cobble together a Lantern box set of the leaders before he loses the license, but that's the longest of long shots.

Having basically one Red Lantern, Atrocitus (besides a Guy Gardner variant somewhere) seems odd considering you can do Bleeze mostly with reuse, and I'd think most people would be content with a Dexstar slug figure and squirrel Green Lantern packed in with whatever other Hal Jordan's we're getting in the next year.

What gauge wire did you use for your NML Bats? Looks so much better with wired cape!!
It's this wire from Walmart. 26 gauge.

I've never installed wire before but it was easy. There's little notches on each side of Batman's cowl for the wire to run through.....HAD Todd chose to do it.......so it sits flush once installed.

EDIT, I have no idea why that link says "robot or human", but it works.
