Heheheh the other week they “lost” my Spirit Spider package in transit, gave me a refund, and then the package showed up later that day.Well aren’t you the special boy, Ace. Walmart teachers pet.
I have no evidence other than past experience and anecdotes but I do think Walmart frequently just doesn't bother stocking toys in New England. Target, also, I find usually stocks the northeast last even with stuff that isn't hard to find.My Spidey '77 got cancelled last night as well. I'm in MA. So I wonder if it indeed does have anything to do with inventory being centralized to a warehouse.
Convenient that they also raised the price. >:-(
I find that Target is typically two to three weeks behind first sightings on the West Coast. Sometimes, there's a simultaneous release though. I always have better luck at Target than at Walmart.I have no evidence other than past experience and anecdotes but I do think Walmart frequently just doesn't bother stocking toys in New England. Just keep rubbing it inUpdate: 77 Spidey *did* ship, now arriving “early” tomorrow.
Huh.
I know I should not reward Walmart for fucking with us, but just out of curiosity I ordered it with some vitamins for free shipping because I want to see, like they did with Jim Gordon, how MANY times they'll cancel my order. I think Lt. Gordon got ordered and canceled seven times on me. By the end it was like a mini game.‘77 Spidey went back up in stock for 29.97 this time around.
The only way to win is not to play.By the end it was like a mini game.
