McFarlane DC Multiverse

I got Kiteman in today from McFarlane Toys Store. I'm so happy to have him taken care of. I was not finding him at Target. But it's a really cool looking figure, and such a silly one to get made. I'm happy to have him amongst all my Batman toys. It's funny, Kiteman was mentioned last night on Peacemaker.

Todd has a preorder date on 9/2/25. Item unknown/unannounced.

Speculating that this might be Zatanna/Bobo. Maybe. Hopefully.
 
I went out to some Walmarts & Targets closer to Pittsburgh today and found the platinum Page Punchers Superboy & Steve Trevor at two different Targets. I was looking for the platinum collectors edition Deathstroke, Mirror Master & Metron, but I don't think they are in my area yet. Maybe next week.
 
You know which McFarlane figure I regret selling? Dick Grayson Robin. Bad move. That after market price.......
 
I got Superboy, Spoiler/Batgirl, and NML Batman from BBTS today. I love Steph and Batman, Kon-El is ok. I found the variant NML Batman at one GameStop, but he had a paint flaw on his face that I couldn’t overlook. If I find another I’ll buy it, but I actually like the regular version better! I didn’t find anything else I was looking for, but I got the stuff I really wanted. I would like to find that Steve Trevor though, but I don’t know if I would buy it.
 
Disco Nightwing - Could use some extra hands, other than that a terrific addition to the Batshelf.

Woke up to find I've been charged for BvSDoJ Batmobile :) I didn't go for the Justice League add on as I don't like the big gun. I prefer that Batmobile without it as it blends comic and real life looks well imo.

Just want the rumoured '66 Batmobile to be true (and come with Robin) and Todd would have given us all the live action Batmobiles and a Batman to go with them...even if Kilmer isn't in the Panther suit.
 
I was on the fence about getting any of the Drawing Board offering, and had pretty much talked myself into not needing any of it. Then in the last ten minutes, FOMO kicked in and I tried for the second-highest tier (with the gray figures), but for some reason I got the 'spinning wheel of death'and the site wouldn't finalize. After multiple tries, the main page said the funder ended '39 seconds ago'. So I guess it was decided for me.

Having said that, the previous Drawing Board, the Super Powers vehicles, ended up in our EB Games (formerly Gamestop in Canada) stores, so maybe the same thing will happen here once they go into production.

And that Robin is a very specific failed story arc All Star Batman Boy Wonder. We really, really need another stab at Dick Grayson Robin-Teen Wonder to pair with the Nightfall Batman - which is as Bronze age as we will ever need. If Todd wants to go all out-lets have 50's boy wonder for our Batman/Bathound pairing.
 
Do you really want to know what’s insane?…SDCC Beast Boy. Only 2 available on ebay (that I could find). One Buy it Now for $489.99. The other $183.00 with 7 bids and 4 days left on the auction.

And while I would like one as the Titans YJ/Doom Patrol fan that I am, there’s absolutely no way on earth I pay that. And I don’t think the EQL is coming. Hope I’m wrong.
 
Beast Boy is the most irritating thing Todd's done lately - and I know that's saying something.

How are more people not mad about it when he's part of the numbered line? Very few people are going to have #42 in their collections - or do people not seem to collect this line like that?

And no one is asking on social media about alternate availability for this figure?
 
I’m not close to being a completist. I buy what I like within my own self set parameters. So no, I don’t care about missing “number 42”. I tend to world build comic accurate characters, and have a few favorite niches. Titans/Young Justice is one of them. But I’d love Doom Patrol and the Outsiders as well. Purple Garfield isn’t a “must have”. But he is a “I’d kinda like it”.

Todd pulls this bullshit with a JSA member like GA Mr. Terrific or similar, and it’s time to break out the pitchforks and torches.
 
I think Agent Liberty was a SDCC figure last year. It was on EQL and then it was on sale on MTS. Shortly after that, the regular & platinum were for sale together on MTS. Same thing might happen for Beast Boy. I wouldn't mind getting the regular figure, I'm not interested in the platinum painted to look like the Teen Titans cartoon, same as the platinum Deathstroke.
