The Funko Dr. Wily fits perfectly with Jada (minus articulation), but I NEED a Roll & Dr. Light before they "move on" from what I'm familiar with lol.

Though, someone posted some big animal robots in the Fwoosh thread for this line, that I didn't recognize, but would 100000000% buy without hesitation...
 
My hope is that the general bulk of the line sticks to Megaman Classic villains ("villains" because I want Stardroids and Rockman Killers + Quint as well), but I'd love to see the slot that's taken by Megaman himself and now Rush be given to main characters from other eras once we get through a certain amount. I'm fairly certain everyone on the planet wants a figure of Tron Bonne, for example.

Like the Mega Man X bosses?
 
If Hiya is doing MMX in this scale I wonder if that series will be off the table for Jada. More often then not it seems only one company does a particular scale at a time.

I'm all for expansions to other game aesthetics once they get a strong fan base for the figures of the original games, but I get the feeling we aren't there yet. I don't expect this to sell like Street Fighter, but their exclusives sold out that day (I believe) while the Metall set is still available. Perhaps it had too much going against it to be a quick sellout and would have been a different story if it was an actual character like, say, Dr Light or even the Rush set. But I'm not so sure it would have been in that case either. Even the BttF car has now sold out.

I don't remember, but they looked AWESOME. I went back to the Fwoosh thread, but the pic was no longer there, nor my replying to it (but the rest of all my comments at least were still all there).

Lemme Google & see if I can find it.

Ah yes, the GNR bosses from X5. Those were awesome. I had a good laugh with my buddy when we picked up on that as we played through the game together. I think my favorite one was Duff McWhalen or something like that (I looked it up and yes, that was indeed the name).
 
I think MMX is the last one I played as I stopped gaming just before MMX2 came out. Except when I went over my bestie's house where we would would have all-nighter game-fests.
 
On my end, Mega Man X was the first game that ever made me emulate with a USB controller as a kid.

I'm curious how a line of Mavericks would even sell. I don't like them as much as the classic Robot Masters and Stardroids, but there's a lot of designs there that'd make for really fun toys.
 
Oh, wow! I didn't realize Rush also comes with more Mega Man parts. Looks like at least a new head and hand to hold the dog bone.
 
Got my Mets. Now, I really have to resist making a stop-motion video of them moving to "Tarzoon's March" as they remind me of the soldiers in the film of the song's origin. My obscure reference of the month.
 
Mine came yesterday, too! Took the D-Arts off the shelf. Now just Rush remains to be replaced...(well, D-Arts - there's still Funko Dr. Wily, and I assume Jada's would be way more articulated, so he'll go, too, lol)

I'm also gonna need to give each game its own shelf with the next wave of Robot Masters. (The Player 1 colors are all mixed into my Classified display, so they'll just stay there, but I don't wanna leave these in storage lol.)

Thank fuck I sold most of my Transformers before these all went up.

(Anyone want the green Bison, minus all the new shit I kept? 😅)
