Tracking toy tariffs

Since these tariffs have been deemed illegal on some level, at what point will there be a backlash on people paying the backlogged fees and or more going forward? I know they keep coming up with new ways to add new tariffs, but won't there be some questioning about this on some level to start to even out the global economy? Or will the entire world just keep putting up with all of this (and other fun) bullshit forever?

To be fair, my cousin told me his portfolio is 24k up in pure earnings over every other president historically.

Then he reminded me I owed him for an Icee at the gas station back in 95.
 
I had to pay in $3k this year. That's the first time that I've ever owed that much. I usually get a few hundred dollars back, but this was also my first year without a dependent (unexpectedly) since 1999. My 22 year old son that lives with me worked just for couple of months to end the year and evidently made just enough (like $6500) to not count as a dependent anymore despite me fully supporting him. No dependent, no head of household - just a single filer for the first time in over 2 decades... and ouch. Had to change my withholding and increase my 401(k) contributions for this year as soon as I filed. Gross.
 
Mine went down from a around $1200 to just under $800 with not much of a change in wages from year to year. I don't have any big deductions and credits like kids and a mortgage. I read somewhere the returns were higher this year for some, but should take a dip next year (after mid-terms).

I would argue it's less that they don't think in terms of it and more that a lot of that information is obfuscated and withheld and they don't really want you to know.
