Yeah, I've been able to get my popcorn ready a few times when someone wanders in thinking their far-out opinions are welcome. Bobby didn't last long (if it were him, which it totally probably was).

One of the guys from Fwoosh I'm thinking of posts a lot in the DC forum here, but thus far he's kept that stuff to himself and has avoided conversations that could lead to trouble. So credit where credit's due.

I imagine it was just one of the vermin that lives under Bobby's nutsack. He learned his lesson way back on Fwoosh when I curbstomped his silly ass in front of everyone. Now he's a big enough deal to send his hangers-on to defend him. Fat load of good it does him. Which reminds me that I keep forgetting to carry on with my assessment of his drama video.

I'm not gonna even attempt to call anyone specific out, and I'm also not going to assume political leanings or beliefs of anyone that isn't out about those things. What I will say is that conservatives are largely cowards with indefensible opinions and they KNOW those opinions are indefensible. So, they tend to STFU whenever they're at a place where they don't have a ton of back-up, and can't just be loud, aggressive, and insulting in order to shout down anyone using pesky things like facts, or logic, or compassion.

So.. no credit is due. If there's any hardline conservatives left (and there is), the ONLY thing keeping them quiet is fear of just being shouted down and torn apart for having shitty opinions, and then having half the forum not even want to engage with them anymore because they've outed themselves as shitty.

BUT, I always invite everyone to the dance. The Politics thread is for -all- members. Not just lefties and/or libs. Just be prepared.
 
I feel fortunate that I really don't remember the shit posters from the Fwoosh. It's amazing how quickly some of that stuff can flee your brain. Or maybe mine is just starting to fail.
 
One toy forum I used to hang out on a lot was TrekToy... for awhile it had some very robust trek talk... but damn... some of the things that crawled out under a rock and would bitch about how Trek got "Woke" was amazing...Being "Woke" when woke wasn't cool was what Roddenberry was all about. But I can't for the life of me how an ultra conservative could ever claim to be a "Trekkie" in any way!
