Big Bad Workshop General

Both of my BBWS figures had issues with paint rub. An almost comical amount of paint came off my Blackwatch Agent's hands/wrists right out of the package.
For how long this line has really taken to get going and produce actual stuff to buy, you'd think they could have ironed out these types of issues.

Honestly, this is why as much as I like to support the indie studios I actually prefer toys that are forced to comply with regulations for kids and safe use. I know it looks better in the package, but in motion painted hands when meant to hold accessories feels like a design flaw to me. Hasbro and Mattel don't want kids eating paint, but adult collector stuff isn't beholden to that so they all have issues. I think of all the non-big league figures I own, the only companies not making their figures in a way that have paint rub / chipping has been Spero and Savage Crucible (Spero really feels like a toy, though, and SC might not chip paint but you could kill a man with some of those figures, child-safe they are not). I was actually openly THRILLED to see SC figures cast their hands in plastic to match the character's skin tone.
I mean, a small figure scale bucket with some red "paint" splattered all over it and that head resting in a pool in the bottom would be a good use for it.
Maybe some kind of pike, as a warning.

So, Cops 'n' Crooks Bulletproof, the BBTS Anniversary Soldiers of Fortune Close Combat Operative and the Convention Exclusive Phantom Corps Command Unit all hit the PoL this morning..

Better get ready since the full wave of Soldiers of Fortune and Crimson Moon should be hot on their heels.
