Toy Fair International - February 14-17 2026

The sculpted spider logo on Aaron Davis is new to match the correct design. Always glad to see that attention to detail and not just a straight repaint.

I saw a figure of the Thing in some of the pics with the Smart Hulk. Is the Thing being released? I don't remember hearing anything about that.

Mattel doesn't even do MOTU until Monday. It wouldn't surprise me if the ML crew puts out one more figure just to pull some of the wind out of those sails if possible. Want people to leave the show talking about them, not someone else. But even if they show nothing else - I'm good. That Thor alone is not only a huge checkmark on my wishlist, but it's the fucking budget for like 3 regular MLs so they can go ahead and not show anything else I want for now, if I'm being honest.

I'm with you guys in that I'm a pretty happy camper this week Legends-wise. A bunch of stuff that I'm excited to get, most of it done in a way I'm happy or even impressed with, and a handful of things I'm genuinely surprised by.

Plus, any evidence of increased adoption of double ball torsos in Legends makes for a good week.

Anyone know why the Walgreens Thing is on display? Is it getting a re-release?

I hope someone demos the Secret War figures the way they did with Maximum Hulk. I'd like to see what kind of articulation we're dealing with on Magik and DD.
I think that Hulk body is just getting old and lacks excitement for me now.
I'm in the same place. I'm beginning to feel the same way about the Hulk body as I did about the 2016 Wolverine body. It was a great body for its time, and some of the best Marvel Legends figures ever were on that body, but it's time for a refresh.
What is reused here besides the arms? I guess the feet?
I believe the only reuse is the arms, feet, and crotch piece, but there's only so much you can do when you're retrofitting parts for an old sculpt.

I'll be getting Smart Hulk but honestly, I would have taken this as a made-to-order figure if it got us his big gun. It's iconic. Iron Man got his big gun! No fair!

I don't need Smart Hulk but it looks pretty well done; love the slippers. Aaron Davis I'm in for; I remember hoping Hasbro would repaint the Iron Spider figure for him when it first came out. Always good to build out more of Miles' supporting cast.

The showing is about what I expected after the stream Tuesday. A couple new items, a roleplay item - that feels about right for Hasbro. I would have loved to see an X-Men 97 wave 4, but more just to get a sneak peek at the show's second season. And it would have felt like confirmation that everything is on track with the show's release later this year. However, with the second season trailer still not made public, I was pretty confident we wouldn't be seeing anything as I doubt Marvel would allow it.

I think he was there for size comparison
Even if Thing was there for size comparison it's still a bit weird in that smart Hulk is a reuse of a Hulk buck we already have many times over. Fans know how big this guy is.

It's sad that the line of thinking now is any kind of release that has value for dollar has to be done under some special offering. Like, in order to get both guns that Hulk uses in this one-off look and that they are using in all the reference photos being shown to the fans, it couldn't be done through standard retail. Sure it could.

Overall he looks fine. I may just be too pessimistic but I'm just starting to look for corner cutting in everything these days and many times I see it in obvious omissions. One big gun, not two, eh? "Maximum" Thor with no spinny hammer effect, eh? They stopped the already-minimal paint half way around the figure, eh? Just one fist hand, eh? They omitted that standard bit of articulation, eh?

I'm also a bit cranky because those Saturday reveals were lame all across the board, not just ML. A huge snore fest.
