Honestly, IF I have the money (and that is a big IF at this point), I'd be down for a battle damaged Sentinel....I'd actually like that better than a pristine one as it would convey action on the shelf. Of course, I'd be sad that I don't have a pristine one as well, but what can you do?

I dated a girl in the mid-90s who was REALLY into it, so I got pulled in. It was fun...sometimes. Some people took it WAY too seriously though. It's odd, because I can remember quite a bit about my character, though I cannot remember his name to save my life! Being a guy with long blond hair at...

Eh, I hate the idea of chases, especially at higher prices like this. Still, they could produce a battle damaged Sentinel in the MTO model and I think it would sell on its own.

    One A Day 2.0: Day #254 - Wyatt Wingfoot

I wouldn't mind having Wyatt in the collection. I'd probably wait for clearance though.

It's been a reallllllly long time since I did anything related to role play games, but I do remember Cain was the "first vampire" in Vampire: The Masquerade.

I'd love this. I still use those bases for my classic Claremont/Byrne era X-Men display.

I find characters like Vader/Anakin, The Grinch, or Scrooge far more interesting in their redemptions because of the moments they have where they realize THEY are wrong. No issues with that whatsoever. It's the things like Cruella or Dracula where they take the character, give them some...

    Mythological/Legends/Religious Figures combo thread

Oh yeah...the trend of making characters like Cruella and Maleficent into sympathetic anti-heroes is REALLY annoying. A huge part of what made those characters so entertaining in the first place is that they are SO clearly the evil bad guy you love to hate. I get the appeal of seeing a...

That's the biggest issue I have with Coppola's version. It has so many elements that are direct from the book, and those things are incredible...but in the end he changes the biggest element of Stoker's story which is the fundamental essence of who Dracula is as a character. I honestly hate that...

While there certainly is some potential for storytelling there, I have a near-zero hope that Besson's film will be anything worth watching. From interviews I've read, he apparently thinks the whole "Mina is the reincarnation of Elizabeta" thing is from Stoker's novel, which it definitely isn't...

    One A Day 2.0: Day #254 - Wyatt Wingfoot

It's weird, because even though I loved Mark Gruenwald's Squadron Supreme series in the 80s, I've never really felt all that compelled to have figures of the characters. I have the 616 Nighthawk for my Defenders display, and that is really the only version I feel I truly need.

Ehhhh...I doubt that would do much for me either. I guess it could be done well, but I feel most of the time those types of stories come off as someone trying to be "edgy" and "controversial" rather than telling a compelling story. I'm usually very wary of any writer portraying someone like...
