Star Wars Black Series

I really hope Pulse gets the Quinlan Vos Wave soon. It is a perfect Wave for me. I love Jedi, Sith, and Saber Wielder figures the most, and Quinlan and Kyle are two of my Top wants. This Wave is incredible and stacked.

I have to be honest though, even though the next Wave has no saber wielders, I am equally excited about it. All prequel characters. it's like Hasbro is laying down Waves just for me at this point.

Quinlan is arriving early next week for me as well. Really excited about this new wave too, and whatever those other pre-orders might be. M&G, of course, but I'd assume some Maul stuff as well. Bring it on, baby!

Quinlan was due to arrive today, but hasn't even shipped yet. Got the "delay in shipping your order" email from Amazon. It's all good- as long as he gets here at all!

In happier news, though, my Mace vs. Palpatine 2-pack did actually arrive this time! After the absolute hullabaloo of malarkey that happened last time, I didn't have high hopes, but it just appeared out of nowhere like a day after it shipped. Wasn't expecting it so fast, especially since I don't have Pulse Premium anymore, but I ain't complaining!

Quinlan arrived yesterday and he looks great! The green of the lightsabers feels very saturated and the swoosh has no gradient in it which is a bit of a bummer. Haven't opened him yet.

Just Joshin' ya.

I'm happy he's trickling out there, and I'm really curious to see how he turned out. Once you get him out of the box, if you feel so inclined, post some pretty pics so I can live vicariously through you for a while!

Years ago - like ten years even, maybe? - I had Joe Amaro make me a custom Death Trooper (zombie stormtrooper), and as an added bonus I had him make a yellow pauldron and a railgun to make it a Field Stormtrooper from Jedi Knight. I'm going to put them on a regular trooper - looking forward to finally having a Kyle for him to face off with.

Got Quinlan today and man, he's just a delightful figure. Despite Black Series slowing down the number of waves lately their Jedi offerings have been beautiful. I know the lack of double joints on knees and elbows annoy some folks but I find they're all really smoothly articulated and fun.

Unrelated, I (belatedly) was putting my holiday figures away (I kinda forgot I had my favorites hanging out on a bookshelf in the living room) and... holy shit I feel like I could populate an entire village of Boglings! Such a funny alien to have so many of, but aside from one Halloween one almost all the holiday Boglings could be perfectly normal naturally occurring color variations.

I put the Valentine's Ewok out last night next to the coffee pot and S. texted me before I was even awake today: "The Ewok is adorable and also terrifying"
