I mean, I also want that one too. Honestly Thing is a character they could get me asking for 4 or 5 additional versions. Black Singlet, Future Foundation, metal Mask, and more.

Aaaah! Masked Thing! Yes! The reality is we've basically gotten two versions over the years... that is if we count Trench Coat Thing as a version. Otherwise its been varying degrees of the same.

Future Foundation Thing is a repaint away from the long pants and tank blue-and-whites, and then just lower legs with boots away from a black singlet Thing. Bring it on, I’m a sucker for FF figures.

Absorbing Man and Daredevil are both on my Really Want list, but make me happy that my son and his friends have been getting into figure customization. DD seems like a really easy repaint of the D's (and maybe just cut the belt off) while AM has me tempted to buy two so they can paint up some stone and metal limbs.

I was skeptical when you guys said Magik would be in this wave, but she turned out awesome. Really a great start for one of my favorite mutant teams.

Magik's yellows look like they match 'Berto's as well. So that's a positive sign for the rest of the team.

That Magik is amazing! I want 2. But I'll probably get the entire Wave except maybe the Spider-Man. I just don't feel like I have to have him that way.

If New Mutants come out in drips and drabs over the course of several years, there's not a chance their colors will match. A multipack is almost a requirement if you want that to happen. The sooner they knock this team out the better.

I posted in the other thread that I like Magik's yellows better - so to me, it doesn't seem like they match. Obviously we won't know til we have them in hand.

Absorbing Man, Daredevil (SO happy to be replacing the Bucky-Cap version), Falcon, Constrictor, and Magik are definite buys for me. Passing on that Spidey...unless my symbiote-obsessed second-born decided he wants it. But then he can use his own money for it. LOL

Magik looks like reuse with the head and hair which is fine... Except doesn't that hair have two big slits on each side for her headpiece?

Did they adjust for that?

It appears that they have. It might be an entirely new sculpt, but I haven't been able to compare directly.

It appears that they have. It might be an entirely new sculpt, but I haven't been able to compare directly.

I'm pretty sure her head-and-hair is an all new sculpt. I say that because I coincidentally just completed a custom of this exact figure using the Gwar-Magik head in the last couple weeks and thus am very familiar with the sculpt.
