This is exactly what I've been wanting! That's why Secret Wars Doctor Doom is my default Doom, and I made the others into Doombots. If they ever do get around to this look for Doom again, I hope they give him non-pointed knight feet; I'm getting really tired of seeing those; ToyBiz got it right on their Series II Doom.

The worst part is that they have the Ultron sculpt RIGHT THERE. Sure, in a perfect world Doom would get all-new sculpting, but given that they have all the parts available to make a passable classic Doom it's frustrating that they keep going with that Ren Fair version.

Not to derail the Dr. Doom conversation too much but I have decided I like the X-Men '97 Tiger stripe Wolverine head on the Astonishing Wolverine body. He can actually look up with it to take advantage of crouching poses. there is a little gapage similar to Retro carded Spidey from a few years ago and it doesn't bother me at all. Just some random playing with my toys talk. Now back to your regularly scheduled Dr. Doom discussion.

Hopefully we will have a nice little Cyclops renaissance this year between Season 2 of '97 and Doomsday and we get a retro carded Jim Lee costume with a really well done comic head. I love my Animated head on the '97 body, but the separate visor piece is very prone to a couple different warping issues, either around the eye slit or the mold being a little bulbous on the one side of the front of the visor.

I just can't unsee Conan O'Brien with the VHS head. It's been replaced on all of mine but one.
