G.I. Joe Classified One-A-Day Beamish-Style Figure Poll - #122 - Night Creeper (EA Concept Art)

I don't hate the Duke, I like the colors and overall profile. If anything, I would say smooth out the vest/top. The plates on the chest, abs and back look a little odd on him. It's funny, if this design was from a totally different IP, i would have zero issues, it's not a bad design in and of itself.

And that head was kinda the "steel corps" head of that period since they used it in the same manner. I still like it more than the Steel Corps one though.
 
I feel like the best way to do a more generic version of that guy is just to give him a new Duke head, but also give him all the parts to the Mutt helmet assembly, in desert deco.

I'm not WILD about the redesign, but I find it less tacky than the overblown redesigns for some of the comics. Like I don't NEED the armored look, but ti's streamlined enough I couid have fun with it. Let's call it "yes if I haven't had a glut of Classified figures in a few months and I'm thirsty for Duke"

Happy Monday with the latest EA video game concept art, a unique ninja that could have some shelf canon that differentiates him from the original or even Version 2 Night Creeper.

Oh. Another ninja for the military Joe line. We don’t have many of those. 🙄. If I wanted more ninjas I’d buy more from Articulated Icons. Pass.
 
Wait, ninjas AREN'T part of the military? Everything I learned about the armed forces, I learned from GI Joe! And now I bet you're gonna tell me that knowing isn't half the battle!
 
I like Night Creepers being only quasi ninjas. Like dudes who got a little too serious in Karate class, especially when they introduced weapons. They can throw a kick and probably get in a good slice with a sword, but they are nowhere near the level of a standard Red Ninja. That's why they got crossbows and grenades.

Ditch two swords and go with one sword, a pistol and crossbow and they are an ok design.

It’s cool, the ninjas can hang with the bikers, the mad scientists, the weird creations of said mad scientists, the Lovecraftian abominations, the wild boar with facial piercings . . .

I mean, come on: if you are looking for a “military line” without all that, Classified is not gonna be for you.
Or, just don’t buy the ninjas, eh?
