Oh. That's pretty cool.
Checked out the local Target this morning for the first time in a while. The only NECA thing in the collector's section was a lone Beetlejuice. Basically the same as last time I checked a few weeks back. Really, the entire toy section of the store was pretty bare and pathetic. Empty pegs everywhere. We're dinosaurs.
I'd buy a Toony Gladys in a heartbeat! So now that Amy Madigan is winning awards for playing Gladys in Weapons, how long until we can get a Gladys Ultimate? Both the wigged and unwigged versions? In all seriousness, I could totally see NECA putting out a Toony Terrors Gladys; feels like she definitely fits that style.
Definitely, she'd be perfect for that format. Her appearance is already sort of grotesquely stylized within the context of the movie, there's an unsettling living cartoon vibe to her.So now that Amy Madigan is winning awards for playing Gladys in Weapons, how long until we can get a Gladys Ultimate? Good idea! I always forget about Urban Legend; definitely one of the campier entries, even amongst all the campy 90's horror movies, but I'd totally take a Parka Killer, or whatever they're called. Heck, part of me is tempted to get the Thing poster figure and just make my own; does seem like it would be easy enough.Yeah, he seems like he'd be pretty easy to pull off in the Mego format, and they can probably figure out enough reuse to make an Ultimate viable. The Toony looks fun. The skulking kinds of killers are always pretty charming in that format.
Just keep bringing on the B-tier slasher villains. They could probably re-use that Thing movie poster figure for the Urban Legend killer.
