Far enough out that I think I'll preorder the like, two Crimson Moon guys before the price hike and just hit ship whenever they get here.

The Phantom Core Trooper is such a flawed figure because he only comes with the beret and not the tactical helmet. This is just a better troop builder option because it actually comes with what you'd expect a modern military guy to have and doesn't require a $22 add on

I forget about Chatsworth and that I have him preordered. Gonna be a fun figure to have around. Glad they went the route of sculpting their own. Hopefully it pays off with some more purposeful poseability.

Curious to read more of the lore. Namely what the staff of the Crimson Moon is.

Hoping we can get SOME kind of creature from the black lagoon type of 6" figure even if they can't recreate Goregills exactly. MUTON is probably the lamest of the original Red Shadows, so I wouldn't be supper heart broken if them or Skeletron don't find a way to make one.

Oh god, my bank balance is gonna be royally buggered. I figured this was basically my only shot at 1/12 Red Shadows so I went all in. A Baron, Major, Jackal, and 4 cannon fodder + one other to stand in for Vulture. Just need a red CoCo for Laser and I'm all set.

This is a bit of a mash up of parts, but figure it fits in best here (but I'm sure I'll post it over in Classifieds as well)

Got the idea of coming up with a type of Frankenstein monster for the slow coming Red Shadows army. Figured if the Action Force line had continued that it would've been a natural fit and given how toys were made back then, it'd mostly be made from existing parts. Real happy with how this turned out. The MF neck fits perfectly on the Classified peg. There's no paint or real crazy modding going on here. Just swapping parts and popping on a sticker that came with the Roboskull.

Jesus, that's it, that's ideal. A Muton is basically the one missing element in all the various totally not-Red Shadows on offer so far, and your fella there could easily do the trick. Get him a black diving helmet for the full old school aesthetic, or keep the hideous corpse puppet head on instead, either works.
 
I love that so much. I was just contemplating whether I could use the Crimson BAT with the extra helmets and harnesses I got in my Roboskull accessory pack, but this is such a better idea

Of corse now I'll have to go back and buy the Donner Party figure to do it. But it looks amazing so will have to copy that into my own collection.
 
Yeah... I'm not in love with how the hat turned out on the General either. I feel like they'd be better served using an alternate head with the hat sculpted on, but then the mold couldn't be reused like it is here. But it's not great.
 
You saw 'either' as if I'm not genuinely in love with how silly it looks.
