McFarlane DC Multiverse

Last time anything DCM was put up for sale was a month ago on October 17th. Extant and Cheetah. Nothing else after that. And that was from Wal Mart.

CMD, ToySnowMan, and Figurinesforall have gotten a lot of new McFarlane stock currently.
Thanks for the heads up! I ordered 3 of the Dark Flash wraiths from ToySnowman. If they weren't sold out of Blackfire and purple Batgirl then I would have ordered those also.

I was going to order Blackfire from Figurinesforall, but evidently they no longer ship to the US. I found this out when I tried to check out. I know it's not necessarily their fault, but mostly that of Trump's tariffs, but funk them anyway.

I was going to order multiple items from CMD, but their new "handling fees" now increase the cost of everything by about 40% above what's listed and have made the whole process far too complex. So funk them too.

I've ordered from all of these places in the past, but probably will only be doing so from ToySnowman going forward in terms of Canadian e-tailers. They didn't seem to feel the need to make things difficult like the other two did. Again, I know it's not entirely the fault of those businesses, but I just don't need any excuses to stop giving my money to those who make things difficult. I removed their websites from my "favorites" and will likely never even give them another glance after this experience. They can funk all the way off -- especially figurinesforall. At least CMD was making some type of effort to make it work.

To be fair, both FFA and Cmdstore have big banners at the top of every page telling you what is happening and why. Let’s be clear, they are not the ones making things difficult. If you don’t want to deal with it, that is fair, but laying any of the blame on foreign retailers for the stupidity that is going on in our country is simply directing your annoyance in the wrong direction.

FFA is a company run by one guy who is probably losing sales, but just can’t afford the overhead of trying to navigate the new U.S. requirements to collect and document tariffs.

If 51st state gets me that free continental shipping, I'll sell out.
You're gonna want in on this. And not just for the shipping. We've got Buc-ee's in the USA. Buc-ee's.

You ever thought, damn, I wish there was a gas station with about 20% of the experience and pageantry of Disney World run by a crazed Beaver?

Yeah. We've got it.

For the record, despite the tone of my original post, I fully recognize and agree with this. These businesses are several rungs down from those that I should really be frustrated with. However, I can still be frustrated with these businesses as well. There's plenty to go around. It does help me appreciate a company like ToySnowman though for finding a way to make it work.

I have no love for the current administration in the United States. I did all that I could by voting against them. I am also frustrated with McFarlane, Walmart, Gamestop and many others. However it's easier for me to personally stop choosing to do business with some more so than others.

America is so great again, why you pillaging our beautiful Canadian stores?

There seems to be very little that is "great" about what is going on here in America in late 2025. I do love my country, but I don't have to love decisions that are being made by those that I openly disagree with. There are far, far bigger issues than my ability to buy toys, of course. In the big picture, that's about as inconsequential as it gets. I don't mean to place undue importance on this or make light of things that really matter.

I have nothing but love for my Canadian brothers and sisters. The honest truth is that it has often been easier to get some of these store exclusive McFarlane figures from Canadian retailers than American ones. McF and his business partners sometimes make way it harder than it has to be to give them their money here. The figures in particular that I wanted to purchase that prompted my original post were sold out nearly immediately at the domestic retailers, and I know that I'll never see them at brick and mortar.

My hunt continues for an avenue to find and purchase Blackfire and Cheetah, specifically (for anything near retail price).

I'm an American expat, I feel you.

Have you looked at DJC Collectibles site? He had Cheetah last night. I didn't see Blackfire at all yet.

If you do DJC, there's a code for 8 percent off. 8OFFDJC I believe.

Thank you for the heads up. I've never used that retailer, but I went and checked it out. The price for the figure was going to be $33.41 in US Dollars but the shipping and duties came out to be an additional $34.52, so even with the 8% discount it came up to around $65 US. That's about double retail, so I'll continue to play the waiting game. Thank you for making me aware, though!

Again, it does make me appreciate ToySnowman who is shipping me 3 figures from Canada to the US for $8.99 shipping. I don't like to ever pay any shipping if I can help it, but there are levels of what is acceptable and what isn't for me.

Yeah, toy snowman is probably as big as CMD at this point, so they have way better rates. I'm surprised how much us business he gets, but he does sponsor a lot of the bigger YouTubers in this point.
