My previous top 10 wishlist was largely to finish out early years of the line, but they're doing pretty well at that, so I'll tweak it.
I mean the thing is that I have been lucky and gotten most of my favorite characters already (Hit n Run, Lowlight, Outback) so if I get Fast Draw I'm pretty much set for my top 4.
Anyway, in no particular order:

I actually have no particular interest in regular hooded CC. BUT, I would really like a hooded CC in -black-. Because that's the only hooded CC I ever owned as a kid. v3 SE is a MUST. So is IG Destro. I'm not pining for female Vipers, but if they did them to match the Retro Viper I'd have to get at least one. Easy pass if they don't match.

I'd really just like a re-release of Serpentor. I'm still kicking myself for skipping him way back when I convinced myself to just stop with the Joes, since I didn't like a lot of what they were doing at the time. Although even now that I do want him, I still think they made the 'snake hood' too small. Should definitely be bigger.

Yeah, it looks cooler to me. And also I just think leader characters work better when they stand out. Night Creeper Leader doesn't just look like a night creeper with a different mask. Having CC in his armour or wearing a black outfit makes him stand out from his typically blue combat troops and red personal guard.
And, again, that's the only version of hooded CC that I actually owned a figure of as a kid.

My 'not complete without' list still includes v3 Storm Shadow because I REFUSE to acknowledge the Amazon exclusive figure as a legitimate attempt at Ninja Force Stormie.

THat all makes sense, especially the last point. But I do agree about leaders standing out. It doesn't make strategic sense but on my shelf I need it. I guess I also want him to stand out not just from the blue troopers but the silver faced Vipers as well.

Man, I noticed you aren't in the one-a-day thread anymore. He was on there for the day before Halloween. Basically, I was never into Serpentor, but the IDW comics' take on him was as a twisted cult leader for the more religious arm of Cobra. He isn't really all that neat looking I guess, but the story with him and Scoop disturbed the shit out of me and made me want a figure of him, heh. But he's not a DNA clone thing, just a guy who knows how to manipulate people into doing fucked up things for his cause. And in the comics, he's a member of the Cobra Council or whatever, rather than an emperor over CC, so even better to me.

I don't blame you for wanting the chariot. It's one of those things I'm surprised they don't put out again in some way.

Standing out from vipers is another good reason for a hooded look. I don't worry about the strategic element because it's not like I envision CC marching around in the field within sniper-fire range anyway.

I did some very minor modifications to my v2 Storm Shadow and I'm decently happy with how it turned out so I don't feel a deep need for a new v2 (especially since that's not my preferred version anyway), but I would absolutely take a new one that hews far closer to the ARAH figure. The Classified version has elements of the design that you can't change to something more vintage without far more significant customization that I'm not prepared to do. Both v2 and their 'v3' Storm Shadows basically take away the ARAH-style lower legs, which really help make those designs as unique and cool as they are. In my opinion.

I need to read the IDW run eventually. I started it at some point and something that I can't remember just really turned me off and I dumped it.

I actually agree with you on the lower legs. The V2 Storm Shadow was one of my favorite Joe figures of all time and I thought it was such a perfect design. If they'd just gone off the card art, he would have been my favorite Classified figure too. As is, he's in my top 15 for sure.

And the IDW run... I didn't read even close to all of it, but what I did read... was really disturbing and depressing. They made it very dark. And I don't mean edgy or lots of death, though I guess there is, but I mean just the atmosphere. Hopeless.

I'll probably put it on my 'one day' list. One day when the world isn't already hopeless enough on its own. I feel like these days I need stuff that's a bit more.... optimistic.
