And the biggest let down, to get back to avatars, was learning Lunchbox looks NOTHING like Kevin Smith.

I've always felt a strange loyalty to my avatar. Which is weird, because I've never read a single page featuring Ultimate Nightcrawler. I just liked the image & thought it made a striking avatar way back when. But I don't know if anybody really recognizes it, I'm mostly a fly in the wall around here! Still nice to have a place to go, even if I'm mostly just reading.

At some point did you make some custom Psylocke psychic knives for the old Toybiz ML Psylocke and sell them on Fwoosh? I know I bought one from someone on the Fwoosh and for some reason my terrible memory pings for that when I see your username.

I haven’t used an avatar for years. I think because my previous ones were linked through my now defunct Photobucket account. I used to have a J Jonah Jameson face avatar, and TFitz outfitted him with a Santa cap for the holidays. I also used to use an image I illustrated, a caricature of Norm and Cliff from Cheers. I had the subnic “My thread is bigger than yours” which eventually was revised to “My thread used to be bigger than yours”. That all came from me being the first to use a single thread for my custom gallery. People used to start new threads for individual customs. The gallery threads eventually became the norm, so to speak.
