NECA 2012 Turtles

So 3 shipments at least? NECA has a funny idea regarding the meaning of the word “bundle.”
 
At least I hope there are 3 shipments. I still never got a shipping notice for the Leo/Shredder shipment. Who knows if I will ever get Raphael or Donatello. Neca is such a clusterfuck. I think I'm done ordering direct from them. What REALLY pisses me off is that I had points expiring and saw that the American Werewolf in London two pack that I have really been wanting was now amongst the things you could choose as a reward. I was a little short and now my biggest chunk of points have expired so I'm sure I will never have enough to get that 2 pack now.
 
I never did get a shipping notice from NECA, despite receiving my entire order in one shipment. Just wild how varied everyone's experiences have been with these.
 
Yeah Neca is all over the place. I had ordered direct from them the morning the pre order went live. First time ever ordering from them. Got shipping notice on Oct 7 saying delivery Oct 19 for Mikey. Looks like the weight is 1.2 lbs so just him. Nothing else as far as rest of the order.

I watched the Nick TMNT with my son. Those were his first action figures. He loved setting them up on the giant sewer lair we got him for his pre-school "graduation". I got him all the mix and match figures, and he loved swapping all their parts. He as into it for about two years, then ditched figures for Pokemon cards. And pretty soon after that, ditched cards for Minecraft, then Fortnite, and so on. Action figures were a very small part of his childhood, whereas for me, my collections lasted well into middle school.

But because I watched the show with my son, I have a soft spot for the characters and figures. I wound up collecting plenty of the 2012 figures myself, despite them clearly being made for kids. Having these designs at collector level is something that very much appeals to me. But I'm apprehensive about getting into yet another line, of yet another incarnation of the TMNT. And I know this selection can go DEEP. But if I had to choose? I'm way more connected to this incarnation than Archie, Mirage, heck, even the 1987 line. 2012 is fresher on my memory. And it legitimately was a great show with throwbacks to so many of the previous versions. It really is my favorite, besides the original line or 1990 movie.

Similar to me with my kids except I was able to get them into old VHS/DVDs of my old cartoons like GI Joe, TMNT, He-Man, etc. When the oldest two were in preschool we played with the MOTU Classics together and retro vintage TMNT. Eventually we also got into Legos as well but yeah they all moved on at much younger ages than I did. Although my son still has his Lego Star Wars Clone Wars collection and my daughters still have some Marvel figures displayed on their shelves.
 
NECA's store is a complete mess. They sent me a broken Michelangelo figure, to which I asked for a refund and they said they'd give me shipping information to send it back. They never sent it.

Then today I receive a shipping notice for the other three turtles in my order and it's got Michelangelo's tracking number to my house, showing delivered and all.

I hate NECA's store.

I also just got a notification NECA has shipped the rest of the turts and shred head. They also had sent an extra Mikey. I'll send it to you if you want it!

Sounds like my mess. I got a shipping notice and tracking number today for all but Mikey, who I already got. Problem is that tracking number was on a package delivered yesterday that only contained Shredder and Leo. I emailed customer service today and they told me the order was coming in multiple boxes, which I knew, but it's concerning that the email said "the rest of your order has shipped" and I know it was only Shredder and Leo. And I'm saving the box that was only big enough for two figures in the event they try to say all 4 were in there.
 
Looks like Mikey & Shredder has finally moved in my tracking so should arrive in the UK this week.

And just got NECA"s notification for Leo, Don & Raph so, based on Mikey/Shredder they'll probably actually ship in a couple of weeks.
 
Are the WM/NECA shipments for these only using FedEx? Or should I be on the lookout for other companies potentially delivering these?
 
Mine was Neca direct and it was USPS. Didn't buy through Walmart. At this point it wouldn't surprise me if they didn't put the box in a large catapult on the roof of Neca HQ and fling it in your general direction, one turtle at a time.
