NECA - General Thread

I know I harp on this all the time with horror figures, but they really have to give us the final girls. Even as someone that will not watch terrifier, it's kind of crucial in the last two. I know that much from Wiki diving to face my fears.

And she'd just be too cool not to have.

I've been wanting final girls forever! I was happy when they finally did a Laurie Strode in Ultimates, even if it was the older version, but we need more! We need young Laurie, Nancy from Elm St., Alice from F13, etc.

Sienna from the Terrifier films, especially her "warrior angel" look from 2, DEFINITELY needs to be made. To me, she is every bit as iconic as Art, and she really is a perfect counterpoint to his character. Plus, she just looks badass! She's a great character that, in my mind, elevated the Terrifier series from just another slasher franchise to an actually interesting story.

I'd love Sienna. Also, Tera from the first movie.
 
Went to Wally World last night after work and scored a blood-soaked Art! SO happy to finally have an Art figure in my collection! I'll definitely be getting the "clean" version as well.

This figure is so much fun! All the weapons and the various faceplates just make for some great display options. I brought him to work to fiddle with during my morning conference call...while the boss went on about sales figures I had Art menacing my desk! Even my s/o was impressed with the figure and all his accessories!
 
Finally caved and got the rest of the What We Do In The Shadows Toony Terrors from my local comic shop. They were down to 1 Nandor, and I've yet to see the wave anywhere else, so I didn't want to wait or be Nandor-less. Really happy to have them all finally- with baby Colin and doll Nadja, they just feel right. Still keeping my fingers crossed for some more Toonys- I'll do whatever I have to to show my support in hopes of some Ultimates, but even if we never get them, these just make me darn happy to look at.

Right? I was expecting/hoping they'd at least tease a Grabber Ultimate, since Black Phone 2 is coming out and they're releasing the Toony. No new horror reveals right before Halloween is a bummer, unless they just plan on revealing them themselves later on in the month.
 
Hell, didn't those Predator Badlands figures they showed have a release date of Q4 ... NEXT year? Why put out a Grabber in time for the movie when you can put it out a solid year later?

But even speaking of Toony Terrors: would've loved to see some new ones with some new licenses from yesteryear. How have we still not gotten Candyman, for example? They've already done a Retro.

And MAN, was I hoping that the Ben Cooper costume version of The Fly meant we were getting Ultimates from that movie. But hey, more Pennywise, right? I never even opened any of the old ones I talked myself into, I really need to unload them.
 
I mean the Pennywise makes sense, given the show drops this month and they already had 80% of the tooling ready for a couple figures. I didn't even think of a Candyman Toony Terror, that'd be super cool. I'm still waiting to see what happens with the Jason license and what they will be allowed to do within that currently.
