Hey all I figured I would start a thread where people can ask for help with the site that they might not be able to find an answer to with the help section.

Anyway I'll start.

I keep getting emails in my junk folder from the site. I have gone through my profile and unselected alerts, pushes, email notifications, yet I am still getting multiple "admin" emails every day.

Anyone know what I might be doing wrong?

I'm having the same issue. I unchecked it all yesterday and still getting notifications on topic replies.
 
Have you tried visiting each topic thread and, at the top of any page, clicked "unwatch"?
The default setting is/was to automatically watch a given thread when you post in it.

Uncheck these. Generally play around with the email settings. I tried turning these off by default but couldn't find a setting to do it.

If that doesn't work, let me know. I should be able to edit it on your end.

As far as the spam issue, I'm not sure. If you click "Not spam" in your inbox, your email client should slowly learn that the site is legitimate. I think that element is going to take some time. It's a new domain and a new email address.

I unchecked those last night after noticing my spam was full and they are currently unchecked and I'm still getting emails. I'd like to keep getting the bell notifications above, just not the emails.

Okay, I've got it. Apparently the changes aren't retroactive. If you unsubscribe from email notifications for watched content, it only applies to watched content going forward. You'll have to go through your watched threads and unsubscribe/resubscribe to them.

Not that it helps you all, but I did find the setting to turn that off upon registration.

Today all the emails I get from watch threads and whatnot broke through my spam filter. I went to my profile and unchecked "and receive email notifications" from contact created and interacted with, but I'm still getting them. Does that take an overnight to update?

No, it should be instantaneous. I went into the back end and updated your preferences myself. Let me know if you're still getting emails after this.
