Marvel Legends Preorders - When and Where

This one issue right here. Champion's first appearance and a classic story about what makes Ben Grimm who he is. It's not Watchmen or the Dark Phoenix saga by any means but it's a fun story with a lot of heart.

I'm gonna track this down tonight. Thanks!

If they make it hard for you to give them your money, maybe you shouldn't give them your money.

That stance helped me get out of a lot of lines and I don't even miss them.
Just look at my avatar and the Marvel Two and One annual above plus the Contest of Champions mini series and you'll know why I have to jump through hoops for this one.

Thanks for the free advice though.

WbN/Phantom Rider wave reveal and then preorders on the next day? October 10 ftw!

Oh, and @akajomiha, Mysterio goes up for preorders on the 9th not the 10th.

That Secret Wars Iceman figure goes up for pre order this week. Do you guys know is it different than the Iceman that came on the X-men Retro card, or is it the same figure?

Tons of pre-orders this week!

I fully expect to pre-order every one of them (so much for cutting back!), but here is my order of anticipation:

1) Warbow: Likely to be the only time he's ever made in the line unless they eventually re-release in a 2-pack with Crystar at some point along the way. Either way Crystar has to have an antagonist on the shelf!

2) Phantom Rider: He'd likely be #1 on this list if he was coming with his horse Banshee.

3) Ai Apaec Dark Spider-Man: I really hope this is indeed the version we get. I'd have less than zero interest in a Mac Gargan or other version of Dark Spidey.

4) Skurge the Excecutioner: This is who I'm presuming is the BAF. He's a long overdue character and at the top of a lot of peoples' wishlists, but honestly I'd rather have Phantom Rider's horse Banshee.

5) Werewolf by Night: A long overdue update to the ToyBiz version, although I still love that version and will likely never give it up. I'm hoping this one comes with alternate heads and parts.

6) Mark 72 Iron Man: Another armor for the armory, enough said.

7) WWII Logan: When this first started hitting leaked lists I wasn't at all interested, but after they showed it I've warmed up to it. Now I'm kind of hoping I find some on clearance to kitbash some Howling Commandos.

8 Mysterio: I've got a ton of Mysterio figures already but he's one of those characters that I'm just a sucker for like all of the Goblins and Symbiotes. I'll probably keep buying any that they make.

9) Iceman: Maybe a minor upgrade on the retro card version, I really want a new Iceman but this one isn't really scratching the itch like I'd like. I'll still get him.

10) Amora the Enchantress: I've already bought this character twice in the line. An upgrade would be a low bar honestly and I'm sure that I'll get her but it's hard to be excited about it.

So it looks like we'll get some good stuff this week/weekend - have there been any rumors about NEXT week for preorders? I'm traveling and of course stressing myself out about missing something pivotal.

I’ll probably get WBN(depending on the version), Enchantress, and Iceman. I would get Skurge if he was a a single, but I’m not buying several figures I don’t want to complete one that I do.

So, apparently Hasbro's NYCC exclusives go up on 10/9 for Pulse Premium Members. Does anyone know what time, and is there a Marvel Legends exclusive for NYCC?

My bet is they go up around 1pm Eastern, and I believe the ML exclusive is the Super Skrull reissue in the '90s trading card inspired package.

Thanos Quest is a good story to read featuring Champion. It’s Thanos gathering the Infinite Gems as build up to the Infinity Gauntlet story. Thanos faces the Eldars of the Universe one by one. Good way to meet those characters and get a taste of who they are. And see how badass Thanos is/was.
