Yeah, it goes against all the conflicting lore about armored CC (I never read the DiC comics so the serpentor as iguana thing flew over my head, but I definitely had this guy as my go-to CC as a kid for a long time. He really should have also come with a Fred Head though, but the Freds never really get a good representation in toy lines, like, EVER.

I've always found his military pants with casual shirt jarring (if he's supposed to be undercover it gives hello, fellow kids vibes), but since he's like that in the original toy line it doesn't bother me much. I flat out adore the SDCC one. My only regret is he's not easy to get because I want to display him with the brass knuckles and heat beat-up face AND his cleaned up look and trigger hands. I'm hoping if they do a re-release the skin tones match so I can swap out the hands and heads between both figures. I'm a sucker for the accessories so I still love that figure, even if he was obscenely overpriced at the time.

I had a spare Mutt/Junkyard I wanted just for the dog, and Mutt makes a decent body for all the extra samurai gear from Budo. His head also fits the helmet and has a good intense glare to see through the mask.

Budo also looks cool with Mutt’s face mask. Completes the samurai helmet look, making him almost like Shredder.

This is me also. Not the version of RNR I wanted or care about, but he looked really cool and the line was still young enough that I just went for it. Nowadays, I'm more likely to wait on something I actually have that nostalgia for. There's just too much coming out for me to get every figure just because they look cool.
 
I really don't need the anxiety of chasing down exclusives, but I'd rather it happen this week while I'm in the country than next.

I know I had the original but I have no memory of him. Hand Gats RNR was the survivor. I swear as this line gets older I'm going to have a shelf JUST of Classified versions of Joes who survived my childhood. Classic Crazy Legs and half of Battleforce 2000...
